SKYRIM - The Dragonborn Comes (Nicoletta Rosellini) 

Can't say a word. Just silently amazed by the pounding heartbeat.

I've listened to several covers of this song and always return to this one. Starts out more gentle, then powers into the urgency that the Dragonborn's arrival truly is imminent. The arrangement and singing are excellent.

I imagine the opening scene of the film: The film start at a remote mine location in Skyrim's wilderness several years later after the game, the miners are digging when suddenly the floor collapse underneath one of the miners, sending unnamed miner falling down in the floor underneath. With no hope climbing back up, using his torch, our fearful miner explore the hidden Nord ruins, in hopes to find a exit from the ruins. Then the familiar "Dragonborn comes" song start quietly play as the opening credit sequence start rolling as we ( the audience ) follow this unnamed miner's trail through the dark catacombs. We are shown the events of the game in the wall engraving forms as miner's torch slowly walk pass them, from Skyrim civil war, rise of Alduin, the Dragon cult priests, Harkon, Miraak, fight with the world eater and finally Dragonborn himself on the wall engraving.
