The part of the song at 2:12 gives me goosebumps every time, regardless of which version I'm listening too. 🤔 It's weird, it makes me want to sing... I *hate* singing 🙈 Does anymore know the musical term for this effect please? Way back at school, the music teacher would play some Beethoven or something and ask us how it made us feel. 😶 There was never music like this! The tune is very Lord of The Rings-esque. This was a good effort and much appreciated, thanks 👍.
I actually found that quite kick-ass, good job I've been trying to find an English version, not Nordic, of the song of Dragonborn so I can learn both English and Nordic, so thanks a lot
It's Dovahzul, tongue of the dragons. There are multiple fantasy languages in the realm of Tamriel, but the song of the dragonborn is sung in the dragon language, the same language the shouts of power are shouted in.

not bad at all. could have been better in parts, but translating a song and making it fit at the same time is pretty tough. I wish you would have either boosted instrumentals or dropped vocals a bit.
Maybe the mic quality was a bit low. That could have improved the cover greatly. Unfortunately, good mics are expensive, as analogic techs are not bound by Moore's Law...

Wow. That was amazing. The only part that I thought was off was the last line of 2:26, but that was also a lot to cram into one sentence. Plus the fact that you translated a song and made it fit the beat for the whole time (other than that one line that seems really long in English). You also have an amazing voice. So in other words, the only "bad" part of the song was because of the song itself. Outstanding job.
I stared watching this as I was opening skyrim. When it loaded both songs matched up perfectly so I got to hear them side by side. I gotta say you did a good job.

It’s interesting that dragons are the only “mythical” creatures in the Chinese calendar and are used symbolically around our known reality. The power of the voice is also intriguing given symatics and sonoluminessance, if that’s how it’s spelt lol Uni- as one, verse- voice Mr emoto’s research on communicating with water is also good to check out. There’s also the meaning of spelling and reverse subliminal messages hid within our lexicons too but that’s a bit of a deep rabbit hole lol ✌️
I just now came across this, not sure how I missed it. Anyway the performance was fairly good, and I'm not sure anyone else has sang the entire song in English. So, kudos to you for a job well done.
i wish we saw more Dovahzul used outside of dragons, like i would have expected that scene with the elderscroll when you learn Dragonrend those three would have spoken in Dovahzul. hell dude i want to learn Dovahzul
Who really cares if you can't sing man, it didn't sound bad, just not perfect. I've been looking for a version of this song in English and this one is the best I've found. In the future if u need any help with vocals on any other songs you post, hit me up.
