I'm very excited to share this review and demo of my early experiments with the PRO-1 pickup. I'll be posting more sound clips of the PRO-1 to my soundcloud page in the coming weeks.

I just got their T-902 model and for the price its amazing. I have a Fishman that is the same design and looks exactly like this model and i cant tell much of a difference at all. Id say this is a winner. Thanks for your video on this as i think these are pickups more folks need to know about. :-)

I have the T-902 pickup in a Yamaha acoustic. It sounds great. Pretty much just like the Fishman rare-earth blender I had years ago. It's the one with the gooseneck mic inside. With this pickup is it possible to turn the magnetic pickup down or is it permanently active? With the T-902 it is possible to do that and I only have it turned up a tiny amount if at all.

what do you think about now? because they don't have 100 %only mic, like 902.only 902 has this feature

Hey Curtis! Thanks for the vid! Sorry for bothering but could u please compare skysonic pro-1 and Seymour Duncan mag mic in a few words? I would be very grateful! We don't have skysonic in my country so I can't try it live, can only order from the internet. But I've tried mag mic and it sounds cool. You told u also used mag mic so your opinion would be very precious. I play more like rhythm-guitar in a band if that helps, I've heard mag mic isn't very good at getting through the mix. Thanks a lot in advance!

Hey! Hmm, what can I say. They are both very high quality pickups. I do find that the magmic is able to blend in much MORE of the microphone than the PRO1. The Pro-1 has a better Mid-range and is overall much much more flexible with the added SBT under the bridge. I would say the magmic has a much more mid-scooped sound when comared to the PRO1 but that is not necesarily a good thing. Hope that gives you some pointers. You can't really go wrong with either. I didn’t understand the stereo thing. What does it give me ? For example, I can add reverb only to magnetic without touching mic and the transducer? But what for? What’s gonna change?

for example, for percussive fingerstyle players, they can send the sbt to one channel for all the effects (delay reverb and all that) and send the mic output to a clean channel so the percussive elements dont get any of those effects.

i just install the T903 skysonic but its giving me noise more than usual noise, my pup is similar to your pup but have no undersaddle thingy, my cable is new fender cable, but noisy,

@@CurtisThorpe hi i resolve it, i was using heavy compressor software settings while recording, i turn off compressor and noise is very minimal and negligble, after eq the sound is sweet.... Cheers .
