Am I the only one who unironically liked this game? Sure it’s not the best Zelda game but it’s still a great game. It’s not even just nostalgia talking cus I picked it up on switch and still loved it.
Not alone. I adore this game. Agreed it's not the best Zelda game. But it's a great game. And I freaked out my bro's best friend because I was his friend's shy, quiet and polite older sister and than he comes across me cussing my head off at Scaldera because for some reason(what I am I saying it's the second boss I know the reason) I just could not get that boss down and he just pauses in the doorway going 'YOU CAN CUSS????' 10/10 best memory of this game ever is that moment despite how much of a pain Scaldera was. But yeah loved this game from the start and that didn't change when I picked it up on the switch. Also Bow controls are lovely. Was weird to get used to a right handed sword user though. Cause irl I'm, despite being right dominant in writing, a leftie when it comes to melee combat(my parents did reenactment). Rightie in ranged so that was fine. But while I understand the decision to make Link a rightie for the motion controls....did make things difficult for me sword combat wise for a decent part of the game.
I love the game! I had a lot of fun playing it for the first time and really love the art style and design honestly. I didn’t realise we weren’t meant to like it lol but it’s honestly up there for me
no but honestly I have only played the switch version and I never experienced anything bad with controls so I was surprised seeing linkus complain like, I thought they were awesome, it was very responsive
People clowning on skyward’s controls in the first 3 minutes. Guys, did you ever think to turn around the wii remote to hold it upside down? Or you know, actually hold the wii remote higher? Burn some calories with this one it will do you some good. Also watching linkus struggle against a bokoblin because he is randomly flailing his arms is HILARIOUS
Yep, playing standing not super close to the TV worked a lot better(at least to me). Playing right in front of a monitor like playing in a PC seems to work worse
@@NFITC1 Same. The only problems I got were: 1. Aiming center changing 2. Batteries And both were problems of the Wii Mote itself, not the game. And the game had a button to re-center the aim, so problem 1 was not that annoying(and it wasn't that big of a deal to bbegin with)
@@tomjackal5708the game is literally designed for you to feel like you're swinging the sword. Imagine play VR and just click buttons and never actually move your hands.
oh, when you said "handwash skip", that reminded me of an old game, "MDK2", where the ship's computer won't let you out of the bathroom until you wash your hands! that happened in the third level, where you need to use the bathroom to get some items you need to get past some enemies later!
Glad Linkus is hating Skyward Sword less, I think it's an overly maligned game, though it's silly to refuse to engage with the very basics of combat -- only doing spinning attacks -- and complain that the combat is bad (though yes the stamina wheel drains way too quickly for it being such a core mechanic). It'd be like only doing leaping attacks in Dark Souls. At least against the electric boko he fought properly (and yes I think it's fair to complain that it's control system is pretty inaccessible, and I think it's good that the rerelease provided an alternate control scheme)
hell yeahh! i've been waiting for a new upload these past few days, im so happy it ended up being a randomizer of skyward sword! two of my favorite things combined❤
Dunno if anyone will be reading this, but if you want even more Linkus content, he will (hopefully) be streaming later today on his Twitch speedrunning Wind Waker all dungeons! He just got became third in the WORLD, so if you have some free time later, definitely check it out! #notsponsered
I really love when u do a skyward sword ramdomizer, seen how a game so good and lineal can be turned around a lot and still be so good makes me reminice my times playing it
anyone know what Linkus uses for his rando trackers? Everytime I try to play a rando i end up going through 4-5 different trackers and just give up using them.
Btw @linkus7 skyward sword is ONE of my fav zelda games. Its kinda easy but gives a bit of challenge. Plus moiton controls are the best in this game.😎😎😎
@linkus7 i finally did it i got the nardest armor to get in zelda totk. I got the ancient heros aspect armor after a hole year and a half it took me this long im q giga chad🥳🥳🥳 Man i grinded way to long for it. Man im dead💀💀💀💀
Watching you play Skyward Sword made me realize why some people dislike this game. Obviously if you're swinging you're Wiimote around like a toddler expecting the enemies to just throw themselves on you're sword you're gonna be frustrated. I was 7 when the game came out and even then I didn't have as much difficulty as you're having right now. No hate to you, I actually enjoyed the video, just annoyed at the constant baseless bashing of this game.
