I love how the pre-movie Decepticons were a bunch of dimwitted thugs following an intelligent and charismatic leader, and post-movie they were much more intelligent and capable overall but were sabotaged by their loyalty to a completely unhinged leader.
His personality is like a asshole jock from school, I love it. His level of loyalty and enough intelligence to be a good lacky for Megatron is refreshing for a villain goon.
The fact that he had to ask permission to teleport shows how powerful he truly was, really feel like he was just held back power wise by his loyalty to Megatron. The writing of the show definitely held him back too.
The fact that my boy’s so underrated is a crime against humanity! Or should I say Cybertronity. Idk lol. Also, “U WASTE MORE ENERGY WITH UR MOUTH” gets me every time XDDDD
I’m watching the G1 series for the first time and honestly, Skywarp is creeping up as my favorite seeker. Mainly because of his borderline chaotic, troll like attitude. He’s a total menace and I love it.
Skywarp is my all-time favorite Seeker throughout the Transformers franchise, it's because of the color scheme, his ability to teleport, and he's a great comrade with thundercracker.
Great compilation. Although Skywarp didn't really have much impact during g1, I feel it helps to define his character a bit more beyond "dim-witted". Right now, he comes across as "the young seeker", newley appointed and eager to please the higher ups, but after some time, flexing that promotion on the underlings. Contrasting that with Thundercracker, who gives off "im too old for this shit" vibes", and we have a pretty well rounded trio.
No unfortunately the over bloated cast didn't help with most of the G1 characters. The cons were effectively Megatron, Starscream and Soundwave with everyone else being a guest appearance.
Skywarp's Memoir : " Last things i'm do at sunset of my career - picking up trail of garbage and then i'm been thrown in outer space, yeah " Thank you for work ❤❤❤
For many 80s cartoons, it was insanely common. They never had the time to go back and fix those errors as many were all aired on broadcast on a tight schedule and had a rushed production time.
