Since in this kind of roof slab we are joining block and concrete. So is there any chance of hairline cracks or major cracks is more than conventional RCC slab?

As compared to rcc slab the hairline cracks is less but if any damages will come then it is difficult for maintenance

In my experience i had seen upto 12 stories of this ....yes it can be done upto this but that design is different from this

1) for strength, durability etc that's all are same in hourdi slab bcs it depends upon the design of slab designed by structural engineer. By using this, we can reduced the weight of slab.
