Coming on stage to Gudbuy to jane.Great weekend ! Got all my albums signed I wanted to at the weekend but couldn't get Dave n Dons ! gutted ! Please post or like if you were there.
Thanks for watching ! I have just started doing little music show thingys in my shed , if your interested , I’ll be doing half hour shows playing my record collect mainly 60s music , Punk , Indie , Soul etc all on 45s

As good as Don and Dave are Slade was Nod and Jim for me. Fair play Don and Dave are carrying on the legacy. But Slade has to have Nod and Jim, they were Slade and always will be. They can never be replaced in my view . Two unique guys like Lennon & McCartney - Holder & Lea you were / are legends, not to mention Don and Dave, they made them Slade and are worthy of the greatest adulations available........Miss you all, them were the Days...........keep on rockin, Nod the greatest rock singer bar none, keep doin it boys. When I'm feeling down you always make me feel better and that takes some doing!

Maybe they could make a few bucks doing a reality tv series to find a new inappropriate singer, a la INXS and tarnish the bands cred completely, haha

But the guy sounds just like him? LMFAO. Nobody sounds like Noddy except Noddy. No great bass/violin from Jim Lea either. Slade are Noddy Holder, Jim Lea, Dave Hill, Don Powell......amen!

@@sladeippie5841 No bad feelings about Don & Dave carrying on, they were called Slade2 for a while then I think Noddy & Jim said OK to them using just Slade again...they aren't the same though, how could they be, it'd be like Jagger & Richards leaving the Stones.....& NO, the guy does NOT sound just like Noddy Holder, Noddy's voice is unique, best voice in rock in my opinion. Slade were a fantastic band, can't hate on Dave & Don for enjoying themselves & no doubt making a living at it, should have stuck with Slade2 though.
