Well this was definitely worth the wait, 100% The format and point structure are super-solid. Love it. Some thrilling drama as R-Lo was in the catbird seat for the first entire half and then blammo, that awful wreck throwing him to the back of the pack but not out entirely. Respect to him for quickly clawing his way back to the top 3 in this first leg of the event
The Old Yadkin Valley Speedway definitely was not designed for formula cars. They took a beating, but kept going and put on some amazing racing action! Can't wait to see the next round!

Great racing, super exciting...but...all the incidents happened in the same place - - the circuit designed needs to be brought back and that issue sorted out!!!!
The speedway definitely does not have the smoothest racing surface! But it makes for some great action. Those cars were moving so fast they were riding on the edge the entire time. Just a lil bump and they are flirting with disaster!
@@FunkhouserDRL Yes, you are absolutely right about the speed and excitement, I really enjoyed it and the new F1 type racing where the fastest starts at the front and the winner stays there is a brilliant idea and, just like real life, one driver can win the first few but lose out overall. I guess I need to think of the circuit as a Baku, Monaco or Canada and embrace the bumps!!! Anyway, I love the concept and will definitely be back for round 2 and thank you for not only recording the 10 second races but for doing the hours and hours of editing to make each race meeting individual and exciting. Great racing action. This is using the Grid Formation Racing format that I introduced in last years Formula $pecial. Check it out on how to expand this to a 18 car Grid Formation field. Will be running it again this year. Always looking for more tracks to participate if you are interested.
Nice setup. I really like the pit crew miniatures. That's what I would like to have. Maybe 5 or 6 crews with different color schemes. They are amazing. Would go well with my Hot Wheels Sizzlers and XV-RACERS!!
@@FunkhouserDRL Today is the 28 of January 2023. This is the only time I had to respond since, until last Thursday night, I've been in the hospital. I could've died, but I am still here by The Grace of God! I, too, hope that I am still around, especially if you do use the Sizzlers or XV-RACERS! Thank you. I may not have too many opportunities to watch anything for awhile, having to make and keep appointments and work at losing weight, changing my diet and working on maintaining my health for a longer life, but I hope to see more of your videos in the near future! @@FunkhouserDRL I'm keeping an eye on it so will see it when it drops. I enjoy the content on your channel. I used to collect small diecast cars like these when I was a kid. It's fun and nostalgic to see them race and you do put a good spin on the presentation. Keep up the good work Funkhouser!
The videos are actually slowed down to allow the action to actually be seen. If it were filmed at real time speed you wouldn't be able to keep up with what's happening.
