Honestly, even ignoring the pain and the head trauma, imagine dishing out as much punishment as he did and just seeing your opponent hardly even fucking flinch. The sheer willpower Young James showed is inspiring.
I think he’d have a higher chance if he could pull off what wolverine does and not show his opponent the pain he’s feeling, I feel like it just gives his opponents hope that the end is near. But yeah for sure, he hit like a truck and was willing to take a lot. I think I would’ve lost to Young James on like round 2.
Young James is a fucking legend he survived the same amount of force radiated by an atom bomb exploding underground and having one hole to put all the force through that hole was where his cheek was
Dude watching the refs expression each time Wolverine delivers a slap is priceless, its like hes expecting a repeat of archaic death every single round.
I'm pretty sure it's the same ref for all the SFC videos, and if so he's my favourite part of em tbh. This man's just expressive, and the faces he makes after a meaty palm makes contact with a human skull at mach 10 are absolutely amazing.

If you look closely, Wolverine is using actual boxing technique when slapping. He twists the hip and swings the slap like a right hook. He's literally changing the game
His form is great! It was mentioned in the Archaic Death slap vs that Wolverine was a former MMA fighter which means his immaculate form makes sense. This guy probably doesn't feel pain because he's been punched in his nose enough to not care, and he basically dishes blows like he's trying to kill his opponent.
You know if it wasn’t for Charlie, I never would of gotten so invested in the underground slapping scene. They need to make him the official announcer for the televised events. I mean, it sounds like a joke, but I seriously think that would make this shit big.
I love how civilized this sport is. There is no crappy acting like in soccer. There is just you and your opponent, facing eachother, and taking turns slapping the shit out of one another
@@useraccount333 I mean the average person hasn't gotten slapped so hard they black out, so it would stand to reason that the first time you get slapped that hard, you gain a little humility and respect for another person's strength.
I am convinced Young James lasted this long because somewhere between 3rd to 4rth slap the memory of the rules was forcefully ejected from his brain and it took another 10 more hits for him to remember he can quit. Seriously, what a champ.
I feel like if young James were to drop down a weight class he could possibly be champion, he has heart a solid chin and good power I believe he could definitely be a champ at a lower weight class, or maybe even with a long training camp with a good coach and maybe bring Francis ngannou in to corner him also
To be fair I think part of that was from the fact that until the end of the match we couldn't actually see the damage he had been inflicting onto Wolverine.

The face reveal at the end is the most incredible thing. Everyone thinks the whole time wolverine is barely getting slapped but only to find out he just has no feeling of pain and can endure
@@injetavel279 I see wolverine's weaker slaps as a strategy, it's like how you tire out your enemy in boxing before striking hard. Jame's slaps are full force and he would be wearing himself out, wolverine is conserving energy while absorbing damage because he clearly can absorb all of it.
This fight was extremely poetic since the stakes are incredibly high, they aren't fighting over something trivial like money or power, they are fighting for honor. Wolverine is fighting to prove that his beard isn't the reason he wins and Young James is fighting for his title back. This makes the fight not just epic but also emotional, so much so that no matter who you are rooting for you can't help but feel for the person who lost.
Wolverine is just a straight badass. When he declined to call the penalty, everyone saw the man he was. Respect. He had to be forced into the penalty later. I know he would have declined it, again.
I now imagine Wolverine's mum being that stereotypical small old lady with an iron slap so hard even Wolverine is knocked out, with the thunderous sound of the slap exceeding 200 dB.
My prediction on how Wolverine hits like a truck- Not only does he use hiss arm and shoulder muscles, which are frickin massive, but he uses his legs for extra power. When he slaps, he comes from underneath the target, pushing up with his legs as he sends a homemade bomb of a slap towards the target's face.
Totally! His form is immaculate and I think that while Wolverine isn't the strongest in terms of raw power, the fact that his hand connects so solidly makes his slaps deliver an unusually high amount of PAIN to the target. His slaps must leave hand-shaped welts for days on the targets he unleashes upon. It's no wonder he above all else makes his opponents cry from sheet pain.
The fight between young James and wolverine was enduring, even better the faces the referee makes every time a slap is made and after the slap is fantastic and fun to watch
That hug at the end is pure wholesome sportsmanship. Wolverine is one of my favourites, and young James took it like a champ. Both of them are legends.

Two things wolverine does. He’s uses his full body for the slap. Watch his hips, he’s winding up from his calf’s. He also not standing perfectly straight. Helping with taking the blows.
The fact that when they called for the first penalty and Wolverine declined on it and called it a fair hit shows that the man has great sportsmanship too. This dude is the slap package. Young James has some amazing defense. I felt bad for him. I wanted his pain to stop but he kept going for far longer than I expected

I just feel bad for him. He's not weak enough to get knocked out immediately, but not strong enough to put up a fight and not be hurt like hell, so he's just suffering more.
