i wanted to find a group that was new to me and omg i love them. they remind me of ill nino with there style of music. but still original in my ears. i would love to see them live.
Personally, I couldn't care less what country a band originates from, but as long as I like what I hear, as long as the band can pull off a good performance and good songs, then they get my support.

I'm not comparing Slapshock to RATM. I'm comparing them to Slipknot. Slipknot is a far more pretentious band than I like to digest. And their crass fans are more so. Slapshock changed from it's nu-metal heydays. They seem to be producing more inspired music, that are more lyrically interesting. The lyrics of this song is a good example.

Yeah of course there are great foreign bands. But I've heard a lot of foreign bands who fall short of what Slapshock can accomplish. Most bands that you would call foreign are generic copies of each other, so it is no argument to say that Slapshock is just a copy of those bands. What a lot of 'foreign' bands tried to do, Slapshock succeeded in doing better and creating a better sound. Like Slipknot, IMO Slapshock is better than them.
"Who are you to say that she doesn't produce good music?" Because I'm a consumer. If you don't want to judge the quality of the product being made for you and would still like to "enjoy" their crap products, fine, that's your time. How is she producing good music exactly? She does not even write her own music. And plus the negative side-effect of being a bad role model for children.
Well talent and quality comes with popularity. You earn that shit. Slapshock being not that popular compared to Slipknot just proves my point that Slipknot is CLEARLY a more superior band. I don't even see how you could compare Slipknot to Slapshock. They belong to 2 different genres. Do you hear any rapping in Slipknot? Slapshock is fucking soft compared to them. I don't even like Slipknot, but i'll still have to say that they have more talent that Slipknot, by a goddamned fucking mile, son.
