I had just finished learning the acoustic intro part (am a beginner btw) , and had been practicing nothing but this and boy it's such a good feeling when I play it without missing a note ! (Still working on the tempo).

A lot of speed comes from playing quite slow but super clean. Try to do only what's necessary to get a clean tone. small movements, little force, smart picking. Once you got it down you get a lot of speed for free, the rest ist muscle memory.
