@@avocado5387 Would you like to hear my favourite biblical contradictions and hypocritical passages? My favourite is when “god” says adultery and incest are sins….Then impregnates a married woman and tells some dude to have children with his biological sister. Have fun worshiping your baby killing, murdering and contradictory “god.” 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻
You just play the same notes higher up on the b to compensate, or just a bit of nice sounding Improv in the same key if the high notes are out of key/reach that would of been on e.
this man is an absolute fucking unit, he popped his high e, and decided to just shift 5 positions on the next string down to compensate, AND DOESN'T MISS A BEAT Edit: changed 4 to 5, as it's a typo
@@eddieruddock7014 Of course there are faster, cleaner and more technically proficient players but there’s no denying that he has come up with some extremely pleasing songs, riffs, solos etc and he has undeniable stage presence and star quality. He is an inspiring guitarist who makes people want to pick up guitar and learn it.
@@eddieruddock7014 Ah, that’s a shame you don’t get the same enjoyment from his stuff that I have over the years. I love playing guitar along with most of Appetite For Destruction and a good number of other tracks he plays on. Overrated or not he’s had a massive career out of it doing something he loves which is great for him, something most people can only dream of doing.
Top 5 coolest motherfuckers to ever grace the stage. I've idolized slash since I was 12 yes. Keith Richards rarely plays more that 3 consecutive licks at a time. Still. Badmotherfucker. Give em both an acoustic and you'll be brought to tears. Unless youre just a douche that comes to comment sections to blast the guy
I loved this guy as a kid, but met him as a young man and he was so high he couldnt even bait a fishing hook. Much props to his skill and hope hes better now.
@@srcastic8764 and giving positive feedback is always a plus, and I never thought he was going to stop I just wondered where he was going from that point once his string broke how he was going to maneuver around the solo
@@balialharris7446 only a problem if your solo goes up to the top of the fretboard on the e string. But even in that case you just improvise down an octave. It’s just a matter of knowing where each note is on each string throughout the fretboard, something most serious players master early on. You can pick just about any guitarist and find a video of them doing this exact same thing. Sometimes they’ll finish the whole song, sometimes their tech will bring them a new guitar, which they switch seamlessly. There’s a clip of BB King actually changing the string himself while he plays and sings! One of Stevie Ray Vaughan seamlessly switching guitars while still playing, switching from one to the other in between beats. You can probably search “string breaks” and find some good ones.
Yeah I was looking over videos and I saw that 1 of BB king that you were talking about , but I never looked at it , like You said I'm used to seeing rodie's hand off guitars Change them out whenever a problem occurs instead of the artist just go ahead and shredd through the situation That just gives me to say I love watching the pros go at it And thanks with the info
@@markfrost2707 he is. His solos are godly but rock fans such as yourself I assume have the tolerance, knowledge, and respect of a snake. His lyricism and riffs is what makes him good other than that hes pretty simple. 🤡
@@markjohnston3790 - yes… but, you understand what he means… correct? It's not that he has to wear it… because he don't. Like… ever again. … but the fans identify & prefer to identify him with that hat. "Awww… I thought you'd be wearing the hat, too?" … and he STILL doesn't have to wear it! It's just….. ? I don't know if jonathan Steadman means it this way… but this is the way it is… regardless. I speak for myself.
i feel the same about his as like a disney ride stopping mid way and the lights turning on, it’s cool af cause you’re seeing a literal once in a lifetime performance but also potentially missing the full “experience”.
I can hardly wait to see Slash with my friend Jackie Venson in Denver. I love the Orgy of the Damned album too with pulsating cover art like a 40's speak easy with BB King jamming!
Up to the next string, and much higher down the neck. Harder (sometimes impossible) to play, but no other choice. It's not his first rodeo! Very professional, and a great lesson for many. Never stop playing, even if you just made a mistake!
@@sportidiots6587 Yeah, breaking the high e string on a les paul has very little effect on the overall tuning, you just lost a string. Steve Vai and Guthrie breaking a string on floyds are different stories, everything is out of tune.
Yes this is a professional that has played live many many times and has had things like this happen several times. Transition, stay focused and go on like shit didn't happen. Priceless.
@@savannahpaige3670 it’s the song and not on purpose. It’s Not a song they normally play because it’s from his old solo album. He keeps snapping the string trying to play the same part at each show.
He probably was very satisfied with the lead that he was able to improvise. I would never have known he had a broken string unless I read the caption …this guy can cut it.
There's a 14 yr old Taj Farrant that breaks a string while doing Gary Moore's Parisienne Walkways solo...incredible how smoothly he handles it. I saw a Slash comparison.
Even if Slash isn’t in your top 5 favorite guitarists, can we all agree that he has the smoothest looking playing EVER? Bro handles huge bends like its nothing
@@jomesias I fucking LOVE Les Pauls , yet I would never judge a person making this statement. It takes a special person to not be bothered by 3 different headstock repairs in a 20 year period.
@@IAmJKey They are lovely! I had a les paul style Charvel but fell just one time and the headstock broke clean off! The weight balance is really weird so it dropped like a sack of potatoes lol that and 22 frets instead of 24 just made the decision easier. No weird tuning issues with my Jacksons, Charvels. nor Washburns so far. However a Sunburst LP is always a beauty to look at! I was tempted recently but restrained myself lol
Despite his roughish appearance, he's actually an excellent musician and knows what he's doing. So, of course, he will finish the song and the solo just move to a different pattern. Highly skilled musicians do this...
definisi nonton konser dengerin lagunya atau nonton orang gitaran super cepat.. terus penonton berjoget atau berteriak atau hanya melongo melihat ketidakjelasan petikan petikan gitar nya..ah pusying lah..
It's not... It's #1 prototype Gibson made before his first AFD signature was out. It's easily recognizable - the paint under where his right hand rests is almost all gone, while on the Derrig it's still there, even though it's beat to shit. Also on his proto he's changed direction of his bridge pickup.
He just Slapped the broken fkr out the way and played it one up. I'd put money on him popping a string just for the challenge even when he's at home by himself jamming. Probably a good thing to practice, and get used to. Man's a true professional, and one of the few "living legends of rock" we have left.
98 year old man likes Slash.... I walked in to the house and Slash was playing, but it wasn't with G&R. Anyway, I was shocked, expecting to see a Guns and Roses concert on tv.... instead it was something else. I mentioned I didn't know he would listen to him. He just said he (Slash) was a hell of a good guitar player
