@@rocketboy9127 nah he’s been using mainly 335’s and Firebirds recently…what he used on his new blues album…sounds awesome too…the 335 is the greatest guitar ever made IMO
As crazy as it was hearing him sing in this style on the album version, it’s even more insane to see it live. Wish AC/DC could have done something with that over the years besides just on Stiff Upper Lip.
Also Hail Caesar, Boogie Man, Decibel, Rocking All The Way. But in all of them is just a short intro, not the entire song, in Geordie he shows how versatile he actually is.
BJ rocks with AC/DC and he rocks outside of AC/DC in his own way we've been missing for so long. Thank you, Brian! And hey, he's 78.....and certainly doesn't look his age.
Brian has so much natural talent; the same guy who sung crazy stuff like Hells Bells and Thunderstruck is also so strong down in this lower register, sounds fantastic.
I remember hearing an interview from decades ago of Brain talking about how much he loved the blues. He had said he was influenced by Howlin’ Wolf and many others.
Don't get me wrong, I love Brian in AC/DC, but I wish we got more of this. Much more. I've always felt that Brian with his voice would be very well suited for blues. And this proves it.
