I notice that when Myles sings this song he always has his eyes closed. Tells me he really feels it when he sings. Myles is one of the greatest rock singers ever.
I love the way Myles closes his eyes for this entire performance and seems to go somewhere else, and almost seems to "come back" at the end. Damn. His voice is amazing and his ability to deliver the emotional content of a song are simply unparelleled.
Bethy Booyeah I read an interview with Slash recently, who, when asked why he always wears sunglasses on stage, said it's because his eyes are usually closed. Lol. Love these two. Saw them last night in Baltimore. Still vibrating.

Man I've got chills on this one. This is a whole new classic sound, like what you wish could have been in the eighties and 70's is being created now. Kennedy's voice is new classic and it fits Slash's work perfect. Heart. Yeah it's in there. . .
such amazing song I been a fan of Slash since beginning of his career when guns n roses first came out I love how Myles Kennedy sings he is such a gifted artist and I think this is best song on World on Fire no doubt it plus i love Alter Bridge
Myles Kennedy has always been one of my favorite vocalist. I love his self titled album year of the tiger. It shows his true music sound because hes by himself. I also don't care what anyone says Myles and Mark tremonti make a hell of a sound together in alter bridge too.
If anyone asks me who my favorite male artist is... It 's definitely Myles Kennedy now! I was beyond blown away the day I heard, "Bent to Fly". I HAD to go to an Alter Bridge Show. I remember a younger girl asking me if I came to the concert because of his looks or his music. I answered truthfully... I had never seen Myles. His voice and talent floored me so much I didn't care what he looks like!
One of my favorite tracks from "World On Fire", which is also one of my favorite albums of last year! Proves that rock is very much still alive, just unfortunately not as popular as it used to be. Beautiful song and performance all the way through, looking forward to hearing more of these guys in the future!
This is just such an amazing version of this song it blows my mind. Slash really put so much out there in terms of style and his absolute mastery of it. He dances up and down minor scales in such an artistically articulated arpeggio then glides so beautifully back into a strum that we can catch and just love. Any who play guitar and are lucky enough to here this consider yourself blessed. :) I am.
A little less "Hardrock", a liitle more ballad style and atmosphere. Acoustic and studio sessions seem to capture my ear and my attention more than the big stage or big setting album music.
