I was behind whoever filmed this, I went to the aftershow, No Slash Todd and Frank Were there, than I went outside and people were waiting, slash waved and left, Axl played here signed took pics all that, I can honestly say Axl cares more for the people who made him because he was one of those people, and hasn't forgotten where he came from, Slash grew up next to Neil Young so I guess he feels he would be rich anyway so buy it or don't.
Slash probably avoids after parties, etc., because he's in recovery. I was backstage at a GN'R show back in 2016 and Slash was nowhere to be seen. I think it has less to do with being a snob and more to do with avoiding the possibility of being around substances. I also heard that Slash has signed autographs for people at other shows, so it may very well have been that they just had to leave right away that evening to head to their next town. I waited outside for a little bit too and was hoping to meet him, but I don't think there's any reason to be entitled about it.
I know he has in LA, there was no ALC at the aftershow.Slash has no sense of what it means because he grew up rich as hell. I think all the years all fans have supported him in anything, with few fans you can't come to the area where we all have passes? Let alone who I really felt bad for the people outside it was so few, he couldv'e given back an experience of a lifetime. Axl played there, came right up, I had Fernando go talk to him, pics all that.entitled no, is it a dick move you don't have 20 mins for a few of the people that made you who you are? For sure, did it let people down absolutely. The same people who buy 350 -2000 dollar GNR tickets and go around the globe. I spent an Average salary on their tours at least. No one feels entitled to anyones time, but if I could do something back for the people who made me, just a few, especially in a place like philly Or NY, The troubadour he's outside giving away guitars to rich LA kids who really don't need it. So in my personal opinion, having met him on more than one occasion is he just doesn't care. Slash doesn't drink but he's not in recovery, In fact the only people at the Aftershow who were drinking were the conspirators. Axl drinks in front of him. he had his GF and no time for anyone else since well he's on the second highest paid tour of all time. You know how long it takes to take a pic with 15 people? Minutes. and if you see where the next show is that will answer the maybe they had to leave. Personally I didn't care I have pics, it wouldv'e been nice, but this GNR thing is a cash grab. The records the box sets, I used to be security at the factory, I know how it goes down, they either say there gonna come down or not, and for them to put gate there another dick move, everyone should have walked right up, we were practically on Axl's bus until 4am, I know someone he knows and that was a little crazy people got things signed and walked away, I was standing there Axl is quiet, and he looked amazed.Even waited until my cab got there, I was the only one there, but i know someone very close to him and go and visit them.It really wouldv'e been nothing I highly doubt I'm the only one who knew first hand it was kinda dickish. Fans with 2000 dollar tix and 1000 dollar boxes of stuff that you can get anywhere like I have most of that and more. Inside I could have gone back, I should have gone back I would of asked him to come outside, I was hanging out with his security but I thought he was coming out in all honesty. I didn't know Slash was more self entitled than Axl. But hey it's cool, I guess when your living the Dream your not awake to the fact you couldn't survive without your fans. You gotta catch Slash off guard, I'm telling you first hand, like I did in Texas. I saw him and his kid in El Paso and very reluctant. Everybody hates critcs I get it. i wonder if the "Extend your credit" tour will go on. I love GNR but I know rockstars, they can't rockstar me. Guess it's a matter of opinion. I believe it's a matter of fact though.
Cutthroat truth News I don't buy it sorry. I went to a Myles and Slash concert about a year and a half ago and Slash I took pictures with him Myles they seemed down to earth. But AXL I meet him in airport and he said he didn't have time for a picture . Maybe true but back in the late 80's AXL was a Dick .
