The work of Yuko Takehara on the MM series is one of the best for me, she did the entire 6 soundtrack and also composed this one for 7 and Boomer Kuwanger for X. Truly a goddess, at the same level as Yasuaki Fujita.
I don’t know 1 and 3 are never brought up or remixed nearly as much as 2. I’d say any soundtrack that isn’t 2 is outshined by it which is sad because most of them are honestly better than 2’s soundtrack
@@EricVel11037 the wily fight isn't even that hard once you figure out the right strategy, yeah, it is pretty shitty that they specifically designed the boss to require you to have E-Tanks to beat it, and that you only get 2 tries without save points at maximum (since it's damn near impossible to beat it without E-Tanks). But since the Megaman Legacy collection 2 Version of this game includes save points, it's really not that bad, I usually beat it on my first or second try every time I replay this game with 2 E-Tanks.
