Slash Teases a NEW MODEL + Other Updates | Gibson Late 2023 / 2024 

Wow, another Slash model; so original of Gibson. At this point I think Slash has more Gibson signature guitar models than Les Paul himself. 🤣

The jessica is the one I actually love the most out of his guitars. My “ideal” Les paul for sure

I have inside information. And a lot of it. That 3 pup in the front will be a solid color. White is not in the plan. I'll just leave it at that. The headstock inlay is the new Supreme inlay. These will be LP Moderns with 7 ply top binding, 5 ply headstock binding, Super 400 inlays, and the new headstock inlay. The back will not be bound. It will have Modern neck joint. A flat mahogany back with an access cover for the push/pull electronics. It will obviously be part of the Modern Series. It's a done deal. I have friends, both dealers and collectors that have already ordered them. $3,999 list. Based on the current Gibson pricing system, I would not expect a lower "street price". What you see is what you pay.

Original Jessica is so sweet. Gibson gave Slash that LP. I can say, I saw her live in 1992 in Buffalo, NY. What a show. The back of that girl looks like a beaver got to it. Just a beautiful, historic guitar. Have to say, these guitars break, luthiers are magicians.

That parallel lines headstock inlay looks waaay too much like the one on Edwards (ESP subsidiary) LP copies. 😆

The graffiti SG, seems I've seen that design before, the writing is on the wall, that LP special was absolutely gorgeous.

That last LP Spesial is really spesial, I really love flame maple neck, and to see it in a Les Paul, not strat or tele is very spesial

Why not use the scan function on your phone and check the bar codes hanging on the head stock.

I think that ESP or one of their other brands uses a similar symbol on the headstock of their les paul style models.

AW NO WAY Also I don’t think that they will be doing a signature Les Paul custom because when I re-watched his collection video, they showed that guitar specifically and he kind of just talked about the fact that he was just using it to play on tour but idk I could be wrong

To see the Natural wood in the factory, knowing they're at the peak of their resonance, and they will have stuff plastered on to mute them. And the Maple Special, no holly veneer- yes the 50s is over and we can have our headstock match the body. Yay!! ♫ Ü

Dude! I was just about to write to watch out for the beast Mark Morton. Good you still have him in mind. His Jackson Doninion was and is the most unique and cool signature I’ve seen in a while.

Not sure if this would be an Ace Freely guitar, but I do know that there were rumors of Gibson doing a signature of Ace's black Les Paul at some point...I'm hoping that turns out to be true...

I think Jessica will be a 3 piece top because his original was a factory second. Plus I don't think anybody on the market for a Les Paul would pay an extra to have a "worse" spected guitar with the 3 piece top.

wish the market for the the Paul's and the sg's wasnt so hot, always loved them, cant beat walnut as a tone wood but will never be able to afford one if the market keeps trending the way it is now

the slash les paul looks great but im sure it will be priced out of sight. ive had a les paul lemon burst in my watch list for a month. its not sold yet and seller keeps offering it to me at 10 percent discount. im not biting on that, nor any other reverb listing till reverb will personally stand behind the guitar. reverb is taboo right now for my money

The globe supreme logo is definitely the worst looking one out of the three. My personal preference would be the Supreme lettering, although the new one doesn’t look bad either.

I bought a new 91 standard lp. I am good at setting up guitars.been doing it for 50 years. Difn't like the action on it with 9\46. I hate to say this, but it was crap. Sold it and took a loss of $500.00. No more gibson for me.
