I agree man. Then they wonder why rock n roll is dying. Its because of their unsupportive attitude, they expect too much instead of giving support to the genre. All I can say is this song fuckin rocks.

I'm one of those who think that Slash should do something different, but i don't like this song. That's because i know he has a good Blues feeling, and Blues is a genre that is so huge that he could write different songs, different genres on every album. I really enjoyed his first solo album, that was really something different. What i really think about Slash now is that he's finished his ideas, he's writing just to keep playin live shows, because this has nothing to do with him, as a soul before as a musician. He said that he wanted to put out a Blues album, well, i guess it would have been a great opportunity for him to do this now. This song could have been on Apocalyptic Love without no problem. And i also think that Myles has nothing to do with Slash.

I think it's because technically it's Slash's album, and they are just featured on that album. Why Slash doesn't just join up with them and become an official band is beyond me.

It's about preserving his unique brand: it's a business move.

Magic Mountain is pretty much a bomb. Generic and boring. The melodies just aren't there. Mary Jane, Remember Me, and Hollywood are the only decent songs. Very disappointed.

So annoying seeing people bashing him because he really is such a great singer people wouldn't be happy no matter who he picked they'd even complain if axl and slash reunited and make some stupid ass comment about it being bland or axl can't sing anymore the typical comments from internet fans who think they know everything

actually the singer from "Die by the sword" was Ian scottsdale from wolf mother and I too really liked that track and thought he was a good match with slashes style, but they went with myles and here we are today. Oh well at least he's still making music and Myles isn't too bad.

Andrew Scottsdale *face palm* I was really sleepy when I made that comment, I haven't heard much from wolf mother for awhile and It's hard to keep track of all the names of the good musicians/singers out there. Nice save Steve Stoddard! I don't mind Myles and think he's a good singer, I just really liked the collaboration with scottsdale on "By The Sword" and would like to hear another track with him and slash.

Most of the time the hit single doesn't always mean it will be the best song on the album I'm sure we will hear some great diverse stuff that may just change your mind

Tommy Ettinger Maybe, but you would think they would release the best songs as singles! I've heard other samples of the album from the Dunlop "making of" clips that have potential, though. I still think the first Slash's Snakepit album was his best solo record . . .

Random songs are released as singles, never the best ones in my opinion, and I know and listen to many bands and it is my experience that tells me this.

My favorite melodic death metal band currently released two singles of their album, and I really didn't like both of them at all(very mildly said), before which I loved every single song. But, as for that, I know some musicians who said in interviews that they just release songs which present the nature of the albums, be they the best or not, if you understand what I mean...songs which contain styles of most if not all other songs in the album just to show the style of the whole album, without releasing all the songs at once.

compared to previous album they have improved in almost everything. cant wait for the whole album :D
