First listen, without lyrics in front of me, I said to myself STP has some BIG coconuts for releasing this song. Alex has been vocal against the war and I believe has moved to the US. Not sure about the rest of the band but then I read the lyrics and coconuts is an understatement. More like balls the size of Jupiter. Alex is a monster but the other members of the band are just as talented and sure had their say as well The song slaps, the meaning of it and the look on Alex face...the venom the rest of the boys are playing with ....this is one of those songs that will be played forever. The book in question is one of the most heavily-referenced works in contemporary pop entertainment due to its accurately-prophetic nature. Said book was written by the late George Orwell (1903-1950). It is known to deal primarily with the topics of totalitarianism and living under a surveillance state. Lyrics of “1984” However, these lyrics aren’t really about either of those topics. Instead, it was inspired by Russia’s invasion of the Ukraine earlier in 2022. So as a premise, Alex Terrible and the gang have revealed, despite being Russians themselves, that they are in fact against what their homeland is doing in the Ukraine. Meanwhile the Russian government is known for, let’s say not taking too kindly to its own citizens speaking out against it. So that may be why Slaughter to Prevail has clarified that they’re not actually taking sides on the matter. Rather, their anti-war stance is founded in a love for humanity and a longing for peace in general. And so it is with this track. They all died including their kids.. she said that she pretty much considers herself Russian bc she's like 40 and soviet broke up when she was already in America.
