To this day I’ll never understand why they don’t play Cultural Ills. Easily one of the meanest songs they’ve ever written, hope to see them play it atleast once live.
@@carguy6699 I mean everyone has their own right to judge what they like. But a lot of vocals like this aren't done at a very high volume and are just projected into the mic and then hit through a compressor so that it's not a bunch of static when it's recorded. Stage mics probably do have a lot of equipment that they run through to try and make the show as clean as possible, but it's almost never going to sound exactly like the recorded material. Hell, I've been doing vocals like this for 6 years and it feels like everyday my vocals sound different. Instrumentals are probably easier to recreate, but vocals for sure are a tough one to nail on a live set.

Its probably because he is focusing on it plus the rest of the band is taking a break on it so it makes tou focus on what he is saying with no background noise, im coming here after it got released as a simgle and thought it sounded fake, but guess they just filled it in a bit more after seeing this live version
baconthecaken i know he basicly CAN do it. Ive also seen the vids. But it sounds hella off here. I bet it would be a perfect match if you played the actual track along with this. People have claimed that there might be a slight pitch shift and effects on the recorded song. It would explain why this sounds prerecorded. Louder and clearer than the rest. He’s still brutal fudge at growling. I hope he didnt prerecord this cuz he doesnt need it
@@satricon to me, in this live performance it definitely sounds pre recorded and just like the original recording... I'd like to assume it was just for a take for the music video, or maybe because it's a new song he's still not used to that section... It sounds way too clear and processed. Like it has eq's compared to his Instagram clip. I'm sure he can actually do it, as seen in his Instagram video but it's definitely not the actual microphone audio here. I'm not sure why he chose not to do it live here as all his other screams where pretty much on point, maybe as it's a new song live, he wanted it to be perfect for the crowd so instead of risking making a mistake for that section He chose to let them hear his best attempt (aka his studio recordings when he was at his best) Unless he's just so good that it sounds exactly identical and I'm actually incorrect
Gotta say, Slaughter to Prevail and Sabaton are the only two bands I would try to schedule to see if they are in more stable areas I can visit. I am in West coast USA but still, not the best at the moment
How on key he is live is insanely good, especially in a world full off autotuned artists in all styles. Mad props to the guitarist for making it all flow without any rhythm guitar. Absolutely 🔥
