Welp here goes the slavic mythology again! When Alex makes horns with his fingers, he calls himself "коронованный пламенем черт/a demon crowned with flames". "Чёрт" is a slavic humanoid evil spirit with horns, hind legs and tail of a goat. Often equated to the devil himself but it's not. "To crown anyone" is a ritual that is born in soviet prisons. Performed to the OG thieves (well not especially the thieves but the word stuck with the people). The title "a thief-in-law" and the ritual could be bought for a shit ton of money but whatever. Like, the most evil russian creature, a slavic demon crowned with flames.

I love the aggression of this genre however everyone sounds like Cookie Monster and so much vocal distortion I have no idea wtf anyone is saying. Im big on vocals but also lyrics I was hear them not read them. Creates such a disconnect. Ok you’re pissed off or in pain…but what about? How can I relate? He’s just creating noises.

Can I recommend something? Try listening to Synestia's "Winter." Intelligible vocals, a gorgeous, frantic melody, and BRUTAL. Best deathcore band I've ever heard in my life, and they only have something like 5k subscribers. Lol. They'll give you that deathcore heaviness, but the lyrics are audible, and the vocals are some of the best in the business imo. Definitely worth checking out. I didn't even listen to deathcore before hearing them, but I was hooked from the first opening strings.
