A Slava game after which I spend some time exploring the builds of various players. I have no idea why people build their captains like this, what is this. Discord: / discord Stream: / flamuu Insta: / flamugram Twitter: / flamuchz
Looking up the builds the average player runs has been eye-opening, people really have some absolutely atrocious captain builds. BB players hate fire prevention, DD players hate last stand and SE, Cruisers hate conceal but love AA and basically everyone hates AR, the best 3 pointer in the game. Baffling. well I guess it is propably better that I don´t use this Mod. I might find out that my Teammates run a Lighthouse Build on a Shima without Last stand, AR and Survivability Expert
Teammates be like: so I died at beginning, and I ignored boost caps, I dont shoot dds, I put myself behind islands, I sail broadside. THIS CLEARLY MUST BE WINNING STRATEGY! IT WORKED, LETS DO IT AGAIN
Can you post the link for the shipbuilder/gameplay review site? I run WoWs monitor to give me an idea of who on either team should be focused/helped, but I didn't know that there was a replay review site.
Yeah WG needs take Flamu's videos like these and tag them in the News.. maybe it might reach stupid players and make them want to get better or their asses may be the next ones to get flamed
@@lewiskellett5654 oh i know they realistically would never encourage this since they want their game to be "casual" or to put it more accurately, brain dead.
9209 Battles with a 37% WR .....started in T7 with 2 Battles, T8 with 71, T9 with 149, T11 with 72 and all the rest ( 8915 ) is T10, no wonder he doesn't know Jack, he never learned anything
Has a destruction ratio ot 3.79. The guy survived 5k out of 6k battles. He barely dies because that's how passive he plays. Classic example of a very good destruction ratio but being a very bad player lol.
In fairness to the Shima, he did indeed shoot at the Yoshino for at least a little while before Flamu noticed; you can see him take a chunk out of it before Flamu pans the camera away. Looks like the Yoshino just managed to get a heal off right as he started shooting, and the Shima was struggling to get enough damage out to put him down.
While I agree that it's probably best to look up some builds not everyone is metagaming in this game. Most people probably just look through the skills and think "Oh, this one sounds fun, I'll pick this". Or in case of the Shimakaze the thought process is "My boat torpedo boat, have to pick everything torpedo" :)
I am still amazed about how some players archive below 40% WR in this game. I'm convinced staying afk in spawn will net you about the same which means they have pretty much no positive impact on a match while having played thousands of them. Truely some advanced animal research going on here.
Quite paradoxaly I'm pretty conviced some have more negative impact than afk people, i.e DDs going toward one side and then suddenly decide to u-turn and go on journey to the other side of the map leaving the BBs that initialy followed them without any kind of vision and unprotected from enemy DDS.. Also I've seen afk people giving surprisingly good spotting, more than a guy stuck behind an island would provide 🥲
@@Nico_Dica They certainly do. a dd sitting in spawn afk makes people have to respect the fact it's alive at least until it is spotted. these idiots just sail in and die and make everyone else's job harder since the enemy team knows there is no screen.
When I started the game like 5 years ago, I was like 65% WR after 200 games. Some people just do not have the spatial reasoning to generate game sense. It can't be learned for them. They mindlessly queue up, soo target, shoot target, drive towards cap point or don't drive at all. There is no in between and they never have the position to impact the game positively for their team.
@@CyberneticArgumentCreator I feel you there. I am in a newbie friendly casual clan and try to teach people the big picture skills. Some people just don't get it. I don't claim to be more than slightly above average, but some people refuse to grasp the simpler broad concepts.
2:34 so uhm I heard "gaper" not "gamer". Which instantly conjured an image of the average Yoshino player opening wide to receive Slava-senpais broadside. I feel physically violated by my own brain.
Wargaming: Statshaming is evil and needs to be punished Also Wargaming: Here is a gateway for mods and websites to find what skills and modules every player in the game has on each of his ships on top of detailed player stat analysis etc. ...
My favorite potato teammate was in RANKED. It was a range mod Nevsky who border humped the whole game, shooting from 20+km the whole match, which I didn't know a Nevsky could do. He would angle his ship and adjust his speed by turning out and then in against the border to fire his front guns and then turn back out He never turned in towards a cap, never radared, wound up at the very corner of the map. I spoon fed him two wins.
Its hard to wrap your head around this if you can think rationally .. in my old clan, there was this one dogshit player who´s "best pick" in CBs was Shima. Which is kinda fine if you got a good team but this guy also had Smaland and said Shima is better. Yes, read that again. I remember this down to every detail because i was so baffled by his build when i asked him to show me his build, because i wanted to give him logical advice on what he can improve (silly me) He ran a god awful build : Instead of LS and SE he took DE and torp speed. His reasoning : "Her guns are bad so i want more fires and shima has slow torps." But he also took turret traverse and BFT because "turrets are slow and reload is also slow" He took all torp skills and consumable enh. cause "its a torp boat and i want to use smoke and engine boost for a longer time" Always remember guys : You cant teach ignorant people.
The WoWs playerbase is truly special and it scares the shit out of me knowing that I share the roads with these absolute animals. If I die in a car accident... it was probably a 40% winrate WoWs gamer that hit me.
Who needs engines and modules including torpedo tubes launchers? If you play perfect and never face a CV you can launch these improved torps and run for your life while praying that they hit right?
I dont know, but i think I wouldn't have stuck around as well if I were the DesMoines. ( 02:00 ) Slawa is scary, Bourgogne just HE volleys you to port, Venezia can get easy angles to use the SAP and a DD with Airstrike.. Retreating all the way to the other flank wasn't necessary but yea, I'd have left as well. :D PS: How do you get the cpt builds of players like that?
well could be worse. The Shimas on your Team could decide to skip both Last Stand and all Concealment Skills both Module and the Captain Skill. Then he realizes that his Shima needs to be played very passive because it has weak gunns and get outspotted by all the other dds. People love torping but they hate cvs so he would run all the torp skills and all the aa skills. Then he could tell the bbs that if they want something spotted they should do it themself
Exactly what I'm looking for, can't find any site builds. No wonder new players like me have wrong builds 😂😂. + the videos in RU-vid it's all out dated hahah
Yoshino doing very standard yoshino things. If they aren't sailing broadside.... I don't even know how to finish that because they are always sailing broadside.
How accurate is that thing? Should have showed your own build to start off just to verify it's not just spouting random kack. In saying that, it wouldn't surprise me if all of those builds are 100% accurate considering what you run across in the game :-D On the Incoming fire and PT combo, I know Malta runs that on some ships, not sure why but it's not purely a tomato thing apparently...
You can get unlucky and lose the occasional game in coop mode, but a 10% loss rate is mindboggling. And what those players were doing with their builds is just more proof that trying to play 4D chess is not something everyone can do. 😂🤣😅😆
Back in BlackOps2 there was a random class generator website. It was really fun to try the stupid generated builds back then. Maybe there is something like this for WOWS too and these people are just using these random builds from it?^^ Trust
The last shima, I can still understand about minmax... took RPF and good concealment, combine with supposedly good positioning (which he didn't have), you won't need health since you won't engage in gun fight. I mean okay... it is not competitive built, but I can see the fun. Yoshino and Conqueror... I simply don't understand
Why should that Serg take AR if he always has full HP? It' wont work for him. You need to loose hp slowly to take AR. And 10% more speed in stealth is kinda go well with his gameplay )
Only if your team bots are better than theirs. Some games ALL my team were bots, and ALL died very quickly. You then got rushed & hunted down as Bots knew where you were. With accurate firing, health melted. You couldn't run as they also capped.
@@eze8970 yea that happens, but a team with less than 5 human players is a rare case above t4, at least on EU server. It happens more often in low tiers and off peak hours, but still 10% loss in Co-Op...
