I always though Karina was better than Carmen, but Brian and Carmen had such and incredible connection. And slavik and karina were breath taking. I sure miss the days of watching them each compete against each other...

Carmen Vicelli the woman who won back pool for I dunno xx plus years it was always them at first place while Michael and Joanna or Slavik and Karina being at second, Bryan and Carmen have retired from competition and currently the world champions are michael and joanna. Karina and Slavik split which is basically why she's a little lower in the rankings now while Yulia are the current second having riccardo as her new partner
She was the second best FEMALE latin american dancer. During that time the best female was probably Joanna Leunis whom I still think is the best female right now. Now Karina has been overtaken by Carmen and Yulia.
