true but which market to sell to since unfortunately there are tons of new games better than the original now and if it tries to be a new simple deck builder it will die since there are so many out there.
Not really. Lots of first one came down to a few optimized runs since outside of those few builds, theory crafting wasn’t really viable for ascended runs.
@@100JimYeah truly the only drawback to the phone is the text being small but if you’re a well-classed Spire player you should know all the cards and effects and whatnot
My biggest hope is they add more characters to go through the gauntlet or at the very least allow it to be accessible for modders to be able to make them. Playing through this game was phenomenal and didnt care too much about encounters being the same, i was always just so excited to try a new build, or try a new character
I do wonder how the "Story" aspect comes into this since at the end of each run, we well- Slay the Spire, yet theres another spire right there Also wheres my glorious orb-spamming Defect?
I was looking for people playing the board game (while I wait for my copy), but this is welcome news. Looks like a Reaper is added, though I do hope the town is just for show...and that the board game will get an expansion once this game is released. XD
Amazing!!! This is very unexpected! Slay the spire is my all time most played game. Although I've sunk over 100 hours into the game, played the game on many different platforms, and failed on countless runs, I feel like I've barely scratched the surface to Slay the spire's depth. If the sequel is even a fraction of how great slay the spire is, it would still be excellent. I'm looking forward to this!
Huge shoes to fill, straight up made a whole new genre. I honestly don't think lighting will strike twice much less be able to bottle it. That being said I will be buying this day one.
Main thing Slay the Spire lacked in was in the art and music department. So here's hoping that's improved upon since the gameplay was already near perfect and y'know... basically created an entire sub-genre.
If they added other characters I would be happy to play they but I would have been a bit sour if my robot had been forgotten, that is why I am happy to see the claw.
