Light branch is a neat addition since dead branch is one of the only relics in the game that can actively hurt your run. Makes sense to have an option to swap it out.

Oh man, I had completely forgotten I did some art for this mod way back in the day. Buncha those cards still look dope (Eclipse is totally my favorite)... Should probably do some more at some point.

That was nuts. Interesting to note that the Counterbalance also applied to the shackled debuff, only returning half of the taken strength.

Replay the Spire is just a very quality mod, especially if you just want a vanilla plus experience. I'm a bit played out with it for the moment and usually spice STS up with other mods but the fact remains it is one of the OGs for sure.

Bottled Geyser should just be called the infinite machine because god damn that thing makes infinites a billion times easier.

54:00 The Dark Shackles temporary Strength decrease resulted in only half of the Strength coming back due to Counterbalance! Damn, that relic is so busted.

Have you considered checking out the Library of Ruina mods for slay the spire? One adds effectively 2 characters, the other adds a full alternate set of floors.

I would really like to see you try some of the touhou characters mods (eg: marisa , reimu , sakuya , the immortal .. ect) and the gensokyo act mod . Both the characters and the act mod have intresting mechanics.(espically the mechanics of some of the bosses in gensokyo mod they are super good)

ive been playing with Replay the spire so much i get confused when i play vanilla and something from the mod isnt there.

Counterbalance is busted as hell with dark shackles. They lose 9 health for the turn but only gain half of it back. Just permanently loses them strength.

You should try out the VUPShion mod, it's really cool and adds a new Boss Fight after the heart, there's nothing too NSFW in it from what I've seen, but there's a toggle to turn off the things that might be TOS
