Regarding the X-Cost cards. You can choose freely how much energy you spend. So i guess snecko still forces the exact cost onto you even for X-cost cards. (Im at 04:40 currently if they find out later in the vid).

I just finished watching Act 1 and in the meantime you uploaded Act 2 :D Love it! Can't wait for my copy to arrive!

great video! necronomicon says the next attack you paly this turn is played twice so the neutralize you played after the bouncing flask against snecko should have been doubled! any plans to do another run in the future?

Thanks for the videos on StS: The Boardgame. Just got my copy this week and been enjoying this one a ton! Just a small note: Daze cards are placed on top of your deck, not to the discard (status cards go to the discard)

Still waiting for my copy... Those act 2 events are not kind. I'm hoping you get Necronomicon + discard + sneaky strike in A3. That's a fun combo that nets +2 energy.

Ooff, great video but you guys did wrong The Champ. You even read it right at the beginning of the fight: When he dies, he heals 40 PER PLAYER. And then when he died, you only healed him for 40. I'm pretty sure you guys didn't had 40 extra damage in the last turn, even with Dualcast hitting for 20. Which means you'd need to survive 2x 4 damage (actually 5 because he had 1 Strenght). I'm pretty sure The Defect would've died, even with Fairy in a Bottle. And probably The Silent too, I dont't think he had enough life+block to survive 10 damage. 😅

You had loop upgraded if i am correct? Then i think you do to less damage with your lightning end of turn. At the end of the turn lightning hits once from it's own. Then with upgraded loop you can trigger an orb again twice. So it will deal damage 3 times. In most (maybe all) cases i see you do it only twice. So you were dealing less damage than you should if i am correct.

Side note on Scry as I'm an avid MtG player: It's not the same as in Magic: the Gathering. Apart from putting the card on the bottom of your deck instead of discarding, in Magic you can put the cards back on top in any order. In Slay the Spire, the cards you didn't discarded are put back on top in the SAME order you saw them.
