When you see this song live and that intro kicks in...you feel that shit go through your body and your spirit instantly leaves you. Surreal experience seeing these guys live. No other band like them.
I saw a minor league hockey team use this as the home team intro....that whole arena was a frothing cauldron of vengeance and hatred and the visiting team pissed themselves....
I'm still surprised the camera crew were able to get their gear in there. I've been to the Warfield many times. Saw Alice Cooper once, GWAR twice, and Motorhead twice there. The place is a lot smaller than it looks. Gotta love San Francisco!
the camera were cranes in the lower seating area stage left and right so didnt take up alot of room . but yeah the warfeild is smaller . saw slayer at the stone and ruthies too
Man. that was so good to see. I saw a couple other live performance of the song from that year that were, say, lackluster. Lombardo just wasn't into it anymore...again. This was raging.
SLAYER rules forever !!! im very happy they play tomorrow at nite here in my city !!! guadalajara Mexico, slayer are the head liners in a concer call MAQUINARIA ( machinery ) this american tour starts at santiago de chile ( place of birth of TOM ARAYA ) and ends here in mexico. best regards to all slayer fans around de world ....
ppl can say what they want about the 'new' drummer but he was in the band from the beginning and he knows his shit so don't say he is bad cuz he is not at all.
@bero323 yes. you, me, and every other slayer fan knows that the albums recorded with Bostaph weren't up to par with all the other albums. They still play an amzing live show but the albums weren't that good.
@thrashtildeth247 well, I think DI and God Hates Us All are great albums. In my opinon, DI has no problems and is a 5/5 for me. God Hates Us All has a lack of solos, but it's still a great album. Diablous however have only two good songs, and pretty boring
