SLAYER Kerry King Interview on his 1st solo album "It is more difficult than I thought"

He seems happier in this interview compared to that of interviews a while back

I like how he’s looked exactly the same like 20 years now it’s fascinating

Mark as the vocalist is the crowning touch! It's obviously a superband but we all knew King was going to be doing Slayer like riffs and it needed a similar vocal style to Tom. Mark friggin' took it on

KK Priest and Kerry King band are two projects that got me hooked up like nothing else in the metal world

Dimebag and Rob(Death Angel) said the same thing, it doesn't matter who you are, once you start over, or change the bands name, you have to prove yourself to promoters all over again. Jason Newsted found that out too, except he didn't want to go through that again and broke up Newsted. They're back now though

From what ive heard ,this album is sick!

Well Kerry let me refresh your memory about the show Slayer canceled in Myrtle Beach with Hatebreed. Hatebreed played and we were waiting for Slayer to come out but Tom was passing a kidney stone and was taken to the hospital. Another time a show in Los Angeles was canceled because Tom needed back surgery, that show was rescheduled almost a year later but the Myrtle Beach show was never rescheduled

This is not a dig, but I've met him once and I was really surprised. How short he was. Super cool dude though. I thought he was gonna give me shit when I asked him what he thought of van halen back in the day and he loved talking about them!! 🏴‍☠️💀🏴‍☠️

Not bad... I've been a fan since 1984🎉 but when it comes to Bay area thrash nothing has surpassed twisted into form by FORBIDDEN!!🎉

I was really hoping his new stuff wouldn't sound like SLAYER but it's too similar... I wish him luck!

I just wish that the singer of this new band from Kerry would change the guttural of this last track for something screamed like Tom Araya. Sounds more like Slayer, which was Thrash, not Death Metal.

The album is very good, think it'll be a grower, only three listens in so far.
