The final countdown begins: SLAYER announces THE FINAL CAMPAIGN, THE LAST LEG OF ITS FAREWELL WORLD TOUR. Primus, Ministry, and Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals will support on all dates.

On Saturday, November 2, 2019, Slayer - Tom Araya/bass and vocals, Kerry King/guitars, Gary Holt/guitars, and Paul Bostaph/drums - will set off on The Final Campaign, the seventh and final leg of its farewell world tour. This last hurrah will start at the ExploreAsheville Arena in Asheville, NC, and see the band taking its goodbye bow at the Los Angeles Forum on Saturday, November 30. Accompanying Slayer for this last ride are Primus, Ministry and Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals performing a vulgar display of Pantera, who will support on all dates.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 12 at 10AM local; limited VIP packages will be available. Log on to www.slayer.net for all ticketing and package details.
Slayer’s Final World Tour began on May 10, 2018 with the band’s intention to play as many places as possible, to make it easy for the fans to see one last Slayer show and say goodbye. By the time the 18-month trek wraps on November 30, the band will have completed seven tour legs plus a series of one-off major summer festivals, performing more than 140 shows in 30-countries and 40 U.S. states.
Slayer’s Final World Tour has been a wild ride. Three bus drivers, four truck drivers, and a crew of 32 have traveled all over the world to set the stage for this farewell. At most shows, Slayer’s pyro expert set off 160 pounds of propane and 10 liters of 99% isopropyl alcohol, prompting the Phoenix New Times reviewer to comment on the “eyebrow-singeing pyrotechnics that could be felt even 10 rows behind the pit.” In Toronto, one diehard fan was ejected from the concert before Slayer took the stage, so he jumped into Lake Ontario (that surrounds the Budweiser Arena) and swam back to the venue. The Tampa Bay Times’ Jay Cridlin wrote, “Beginning with the throttling opener ‘Repentless,' Slayer tore through their set like a flaming cigarette boat across the river Styx, charring up a vicious circle pit by the stage,” and Detroit's Gary Graff noted in his Oakland Press review the “10,000 headbangers who skipped the ‘Game of Thrones’ finale to pay homage to the pioneering quartet.” “The sheer physicality of their show was something to behold and was yet another indication that while the band may be calling it a career, they are going out on top, playing at their absolute best,” wrote Andy Lindquist for the SF Sonic, and Guy D’Astolfo with the Youngtown Vindicator ended his review with this: “After the final note, Tom Araya stood alone, scanning the crowd…forging a mental imprint of the moment. After a minute or two, he went to the microphone and said, ‘I’m going to miss you guys.’ Then he exited and the lights went up.”

Man I’m going to miss you guys. I’ve been to over 30 Slayer shows, from small venues like the House of Blues Orlando to stadium shows, Ozzfests and Mayhemfests, indoors and outdoors.... With and without Jeff and Dave.... from the mid 80’s until now... Philly, NY, NJ, Florida.... I feel like when this tour ends a chapter of my life will close forever. Slayer has always been the one constant, every year or every other year, for 34 years... no way would I miss seeing you on this last leg of the tour... Nov 6th in Hershey I will get into the Live Slayer mindset and go crazy one more time with, in my opinion, the best, absolute best, metal band to ever shred a guitar or thunder drums, FUCKIN SLAYER!!!

I almost died in the pit being crushed when I saw them with Pantera in Dallas ca.2000? That was the best SLAYER stadium show ever. I came staggering out when they finished, all bleary eyed but smiling. Then wrung my t-shirt out, and sweat hit the floor like pouring a bottle of water out. THAT'S WHAT'S UP.

I want to go so badly. Slayer is one of my top ten bands of all time and i want to see them before they go forever. Problem #1. My mom doesn't like metal My sister only likes Skillet, Halestorm, and Evanescence My brother thinks im nuts for liking Slayer My dad doesn't really like them either. I hope I can maybe convince my dad to go with me because if I don't see them on this tour, I'll never get that opportunity again.

@@tehgesto My dad listened to rush, iron maiden, dream theater, metallica, floyd, zeppelin, sabbath, little bit of judas priest and dio. Nothing heavier than metallica.

Have been to 7 or 8 Slayer shows in my life, i'm only 23 now, including the previous leg of the tour before this, which was my very last time seeing Slayer in my life and it was a slippery fucking pit when Chemical Warfare came on and i went absolutely apeshit in irving TX with fucking lamb of god, amon amarth, and fucking cannibal corpse what an absolutely apeshit heavy metal lineup FUCK, i wish i could have seen Jeff or Dave play live, i never got the chance. Hearing the shouting, and DOING the shouting, "FUCKINN SLAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" at every concert. Its fucking amazing. Best fucking band ever

Got to see Slayer last year in Toronto,Ontario Canada and the show was awesome , Hopefully they add some Canadian tour dates to this and i can see them again for 1 last time . 1 can only hope.

Saw you guys back in June, with I'm assuming Paul on drums, however I am embarrassed to say I don't remember, Kerry, Tom, and of course Gary Holt in place of the late, great, and AWESOME Mr. Jeff Hanneman, but I WILL say to everyone- there is NO OTHER GUITARIST/MUSICIAN that could've filled that spot but you Mr. Holt. There was absolutely no way ANYONE ELSE that could be in Slayer, make the spot your own, but also, knowing how to bring us great reminders of the man that used to be there as well. Just saying- Mr. Holt (and the entire band) you've done, and will continue to do, without a doubt, the most amazingly, KICK ASS JOB, in this band! As I just said, there was NO ONE that could've done this job with the amount of respect, talent, and proffessionalism that you are doing and we all love you for it.... I saw you guys in June 2018, and you all sounded better than ever. I've saw your show 3 times, and hopefully here in 2019, it'll be 4. Keep up the GREATEST WORK, FROM THE GREATEST HEAVY METAL BAND ON EARTH!!! (I have ONE other favorite band whom I love equally, just different genre of metal)

Been a die-hard Slayer fan for over 30 years!!Saw them 9 times & all shows with the Legendary Jeff Hanneman!!Was even blessed enough to get 1 of his picks at Mrtyle Beach House of Blues show!!Really hit me hard when he passed & swore I'd never see Slayer again WITHOUT him but my girlfriend has truly became a hardcore new Slayer fan & now that N.C. show is on the list we gotta leave S.C to take her!!!I wanna see the look on her face when she finally see's the Master's of Thrash kick ass!!I always went to the left side of stage to watch Jeff so won't be doing that but glad to see them 1 last time & wouldn't want to do it with anybody else but the love of my life!!Rock on Slayer!!!See you guys soon!!!Hell yea SLAAAAAAYERRRR!!🤘🤘

Wife surprised me with tickets to the Louisville show. About a 6 hour drive, but I'd crawl there on broken glass to see them again.🤘😈🤘

R.I.P Slayer. You taught me a lot as a guitarist/songwriter and vocalist. Slayer always will be a huge inspiration to me. I've been a fan since 1997 decade of aggression was my first Slayer album! After that I bought every album from show no mercy up until divine intervention. I never cared for the albums after that but seeing this does make me sad to know Slayer are calling it quits. Thank you Slayer!
