Sleep In The Car On A Rainy Night (ASMR) 1-Hour Drive 

lol.. hey guys 🖐😷 so many questions about my truck i cant believe i didn't think to add that in the description... but anyways,, its a 2004 F-150 with the 4.6 Triton V8 and a Flow master exhaust :O) its actually a near mint truck that i got from a dude that never drove it and kept it garaged... also was a dealership queen whenever it needed any thing done

Thanks for bringing up the most memorable part of my childhood. Late night rides home from visiting relatives or just being out with my parents. This was a nice nostalgia trip. You rock doc. Keep on being awesome and you will always have my views

if that's a V8 mixed with ASMR i'm going to fall asleep just by listening to it's calm peaceful noise while it cruises down the highway. Cars and ASMR just goes well with eachother even tho it's very underrated on DOCs channel

As a driver of an old car, I appreciate the smooth transmission and how quiet it is. And also the lack of rattles.

I love it, it reminds me of my childhood when my mother drove home.

Great idea for a video Dr T. My grandfather bought a 77 F100 with the 300 Inline 6, new, when they moved to Washington State. I went with him to the dealership to pick it up. Now I own it, and it still runs and drives well.

this reminds me of the long 4-8 day road trips my family would go on when moving around America, me and my brother sleeping in the back with blankets and pillows, cool air, silent driving, looking out the window watching the lights, squinting my eyes to make then look longer (ya’know) ty Dr T for the nostalgia

I really really enjoyed this. Going long road trips at night are my favorite thing ever. Sleeping on a car ride too, hearing every little sound and stuff you hear you feel like you dont hear at your home home town its so crazy.

my father constantly travels and brings us along on the regular. the road and our cars are as much a home for me as our actual home. sure, i'm a homebody through-and-through. but I've always found the entire experience of traveling in a car car: hearing and feeling its mechanical purr, the movement of every gentle turn, the turning signals' metronomic ticking as you're about to reach your turn, and feeling the bumps on the road regardless of how small or little it is, as something extremely comforting. thank you for this, doc. i highly appreciate it.

Ah, this video reminds me of the days back when I was serving in the Octoling Army. See, we’d take these long convoy trips in our big 8x8 APCs and IFVs and I’d always ride passenger or turret in the lead vehicle. Being in the front, we didn’t have the sound of the rumbling of the V10 engine ahead from a vehicle ahead of us (in case you’re wondering, the cab had a special engine muffling system, which helped a lot), so sleep came *very* easily to us... Except when the other girls were singing their favourite pop songs in the back. Yeah, long car rides are always calming to me. Thank you so much for making a video such as this that brings back so many good memories

This brought me way back, my family used to use our Ford Expedition as a family vehicle and it had the 5.4 but also with the flow masters and that low down drone always put me to sleep as a kid.

I absolutely love this video! I remember when I was 5, my aunt and uncle took me to Disney World and my uncle drove through most of the night until we got to southern Georgia and we got a hotel room. I can remember knowing we were going on a big trip, but not yet knowing it was Disney World (I actually didn't know until we got there). I was trying desperately to stay awake so I wouldn't miss anything, but watching the cars on the highway and the quiet noises from the vehicle lulled me to sleep. This doesn't sound at all like how his did, they had some sort of SUV, not sure what it was exactly. But the sound is still super soothing to me. Due to my anxiety I can't fall asleep in vehicles anymore so this is great because I'm in bed sleeping but I'm listening to someone driving. I totally love these different videos. Videos that deviate from the channel norm can be hidden gems, such as this one. I can't wait to see what you have in store in the future!

As a kid my step mom was a truck driver sleeping in that big rig of hers was pure white noise for me that rain hitting the roof and windows the noise it made when it would turn

This reminds me of the drives home from my cabin 3 hours from my home town. You know what would be even better than this? Taking the camera into the backseats, in a very dark an cozy corner where you can see the cars passing by. Or even BETTER than that, laying the camera on the back, so it looks like that you are laying in that truck and trying to sleep :D
