Their vocalist Cullen is such a great and positive guy!! I love every minute i get to hang out with him, ive known him since he was a teenager and it’s awesome seeing his success!
Met the band after an I Prevail headlining and Sleep Theory opened. We waited for I Prevail for two hours after. They legitimately raised a hand and walked by us to their bus. My 14 year old son, this was his first concert. He was so excited to see I Prevail walk out, just to be waved away like we didn't matter. We bought merch. Had our sharpies ready. We understand being hungry, on a time limit and tired. If they just acknowledged us and said "Hey guys, we appreciate you but we are so wiped out or we are super hungry and have a tight schedule" or even just said "Hi" we would have been happy with that and continued to support them. So then Sleep Theory seeing this, walks out, signs his shirt, takes multiple pictures, and because one of them accidentally took my marker they came out again and talked to us. Despite having very little sleep, being very hungry and 4 hours to drive to their next concert, they were so kind to us. This isn't an assumption. They told us because I'd mentioned that I appreciate them because I know they're tired, and busy. They're our new favorite band. We are going to see them again January 12th. I'm obsessed lol. 😂❤️
@@TheRealDreaZombie I’m glad y’all got to have that experience!! They are amazing people. I’ve had a couple opportunities to hang out with the band members and they are just great guys
I am a forever fan of this song and I just about choked on my coffee when I heard this. I didn't they could get any cooler. I am happy to say, I was wrong. Holy boy band Batman.
truly amazing! ive never heard a black singer who can belt out the groaning rock voice, and then do the very controlled r&b pop voice and clear town in the same song. it did actually blow my mind :) i dont know much about rock, but it reminds of linkin park, bc the lead singer (bless is soul) COULD do that. such a beautiful tone - and then he can ALSO to the growl. normally i dont like the pitchy screamy rock belts with no vocal merit or precision. the black singer hit the high screams with almost operatic finesse. i was truly blown away. sorry - i didn't like the white guy in the floral shirt. in the original song, its justin and jc and they are BOTH supposed to wow you in how they can both sing the song in their two special stylized vocal tones. i was pretty much only impressed by the black singer :(
@@MarisaPowell-q6r honestly i am sorry for offending you :( i was just giving my praises to the (black) singer's major vocal capabilities, and the ability to do a rocker's growl WITH operatic finesse. i don't want to be too politically correct, because we are talking about music here, and there ARE genres (which are historically and racially based), and we have to give our flowers to races and cultures singing in a genre that we don't typically associate them with.like Mickey Guyton. she wouldn't be country if she couldn't sing country flawlessly. with her own special twist and the beautiful agnst in her voice. i was just giving my flowers to this guy. call me racist, but normally black ppl's vocal talent (around the world) is much more technically trained and precise than all other cultures (according to me). bc of their r&b and gospel and spiritual background, when they sing in other genres (country and rock), their powerful belt becomes 10x more amplied and more soulful than other singers in that genre even have done. so it raises that genre to a new interpretative level, and is truly mind blowing actually! it ADVANCES the music industry. you should let the diverse audience appreciate that, and it is next level appreciation. i cried during the little mermaid movie with halle bailey. part of my world is my all time favourite songs. i always wished a black woman sang it (FOR YEARS) for those high belts in certain parts of the song. since i thought the original didn't do justice for what a singer can actually do with this liberating melody. call me racist. but this is what i search for in music. i love black 'influences' in all genres. it is like W-O-W! there are a lot of 'white' musicals where I want to hear a black singer command and be the star in. THIS IS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. i am neither black or white, but from a musical perspective, i prefer the black perspective of singing it. just certain belts, runs, and riffs that please me. only black ppl can sing this soulfully and technically. sorry for saying ... but it is the truth
Says the keyboard warrior. I challenge you to produce a cover of this song that is not “cringe”. You have until March 27th to provide us with such. We are waiting…balls in your court…
