I’m a big fan too. But is it really UNIQUE? No. Does he play really technical but still rudimentary? Yes. And CLEAN

It's all about the feels. Being a drummer myself I draw alot of inspiration from the melodies in a song as the song is developing and being created. You just learn to have fun with it and you play around with different things and sometimes its something you compose before hand and usually, at lest for me, I have more fun just being creative and jamming it out and seeing what we can come up with. I'm self taught and this guys style is very similar to how I play. I wonder if he is self taught as well. hard to describe but something about his technique that is telling, not in a bad way, just familiar.

@@rosswoodland6449 I feel like that same vibe applies to other things too but I get it just tapping along, I think it's the fact that II can correct their rhythm on the fly no matter what they do leading up to needing to get back on beat, something you can only pick up on through trial and error as you figure out your creative drum patterns with no one teaching you what to do

This is insane the way you described it. This is literally my fav band…of all time…no doubt no questions asked they are number 1 I knew day 1. I’ve heard everything. I know every word of everything that can be found. I started playing because they have so many piano pieces in their work and I just got a Gibson epiphone to learn on, will get a 7 string to be able to tone their music perfectly once I learn.

I think there’s a legitimacy to their backstory that explains why this music seems to affect us on a deeply spiritual level.

I heard that Vessel studied religious music and incorporated the techniques that made those songs so strong and spiritual.

Yeah, I prefer these mixes to the album actually... Much rawer and in your face.

They're only more raw here because the drums are meant to be the center of attention. This mix would not work on the original recording because it would most likely drown out the vocals

@@S1L3NTD34TH So you say. I know who both are, And I've spoken with ST's Mgmt rep for the US back when they toured here last. Their involvement may be limited but they've both been in since early 2017 and late 2018 respectively.
