100%!!! These singers have such a wide range, it's a shame for that to be missed. It doesn't need to be a ton of the song clean but parts absolutely. Even Kyle in Brand of Sacrifice just recently did this and Alex Terrible in Slaughter. Hopefully it becomes more pronounced.

The best music makes you FEEL. Lorna Shore and Sleep Token are hands down some of the best stuff Ive ever heard.

Cameron McBride has a similar thing goin on. He has a solo project called methwitch (basically mathcore, deathcore, and grind mashed together) and he also has a solo project called your ghost in glass which is metalcore

It doesn't even have to be a metalcore band considering there is a new wave of deathcore bands that are integrating cleans into their music. Will could easily do this for a deathcore project

Maybe wasn't confident in what to do with them. Obviously he's doing this style really well, but I'd argue it's a very creative use of cleans coming from Sleep Token and Will probably just didn't think it was possible until he heard it. Kinda like one day it clicked and he goes "dang this guy sounds good... hey I kinda sound like him". Sometimes it's hard to do something new like that even if you're good at it. Even if he can sound like Vessel, it's not that easy to implement that sound into original content. Like I said, his voice is pretty unique and requires a unique songwriting approach. Can he figure it out? Probably, but it comes down to whether or not he wants to put in the work to learn how to make it work for him. He already has a working formula with his dirty vocals.

@@fiddlergreen74 In the interview I have seen with him, he said that he does not reject cleans in general but they will not push them if they dont feel it fits to the song. So there might be cleans some day. In Dancing Like Flames there was already that small whispered part which I liked a lot. I hope they explore a bit more in that direction :)
