@@lmars7961 Oh, wow weird. So I'm not alone then xD I literally saved this to a playlist called "Bard". Wonder if there's a patern here. I actually build a character just so he can dedicate this song to someone at some point for a campaign. He isn't even a bard, he is a cleric (because, you know "Did i mistake you for a sign from god?" ...fitting) that has proficiency with an instrument and the Performance skill. I may be able to pull off the intrument bit. If not, I can always just go a capella with these lyrics, which I actually practice often for the heck of it xD

@@goatrow as weird as this is going to sound, 1950’s soul town music is the closest I can think of. Al Green type music. Like Al Green “Love and Happiness” This half of The Summoning definitely has a vintage soul funk inspired vibe to it.

Beware. I was just like this, never listened to any rock music, only popular pop songs, some rnb. But then, I liked this one song from a alternative rock band. I thing it was Supermassive black hole by Muse, I heard it in a Twilight movie, I started to listen to that one song all the time, at the same time not liking any other of their songs, because they were too "rocky" for me, then i liked some other songs, still those, that were least "heavy", Oh boy, Muse is not at all heavy btw, then I gradually got into heavier stuff, then more and more, first alternative, then classic rock, all the subgenres, then heavy metal, metalcore, deathcore. I think it's been about 7 years since I only listen to rock, which gradual incline into heavier and heavier stuff. For the last few years, whenever we get into car, and I put on music, my husband noticed that it gets heavier every time, he said "I see you are degrading", jokingly of cource. Now I probably will listed to ocasional pop song once in half a year, all my play list are metal, and I love it, yes this music is strange to hear to those who are not used to it, but it's just so much better, it hits different, the lyrics are always deep. It's been such a jorney, and I'm happy I'm here.
