We've tried almost all of the train classes for travel in India and reckon that for a short, day trip Sleeper Class is the best choice! We always meet people and get chatting (sometimes piecing together a conversation), drink chai and enjoy the ride. It's the friendliest class and the best way to experience Indian train travel!
