Fiy on the side skirts if you take acetone to the black it's actually color match underneath...and also the rubber gasket that goes on top of the side skirt is for moisture so the rocker doesn't rot... Calypso rott for the win one of my favorite colors
You need the OEM bmw front number plate delete panel that has BMW embossed in it to really finish that off. They're still available to order new from bmw for not a lot of money
I think with the foggies, M mirrors, tinted windows, black grills and some kind of little roof wing (not a fuck off huge wing, just a little something something) would go hard
nah bro... tint looks terrible on old cars... specially stance ones, thats something you only put on the new BMW's, same with black grills.... old bmw's need the front chrome grill... it looks just right, my friends (2 of them) have the cleanest E30's in my country EASILY, and they have removed all the chrome trim and the chrome moldings around the windows and just have the chrome grill left on there & like 4 years ago before i knew barely anything about BMW's... i asked them ''why you took off all the chrome stuff but left the chrome grill'' and they just explained to me how black grill looks terrible on old bmw, and chrome grill looks JUST RIGHT.
the windows look way better not tinted, just look at it at 19:30, looks amazing... also the chrome grill is way better, black grill looks cheap and not good at all especially if you have shiny wheels :)
I did an M3 swap on my e46 wagon. Some suggestions that I think are the cherry on top are roof rack delete, hatch wing and paint matched trim and door handles. Those details bring it up a notch big time.
I believe the side skirt seal has a purpose if you have the factory upper clips installed, to keep water from running into the holes and into the rocker
Alll the new homies that have been apart of the ch the last few months and year or so, has been great man. Especially having Anthony as your painter. He really knows his stuff
I would really love to see some longer, really indeapth videos of the s14 metal work and fabrication process. Racecar build videos make me happy. Especially when I comes to fab work, I love watching it.
21:31 I like that jimmy didn't use the mirrors because they are RHD and angled wrong from the drivers seat, but half a year or so later brought them over to Poland for his RHD BMW exhibition car. Right part right time!
The wagon in my opinion is easily top three and that says a lot for the quality collection of cars you have. The color on it and the stance just hits different!!! Now i need an old school wagon
I just got my wagon in the states it’s in wayy worse condition right now but this haze given me the motivation to start ordering the parts and get it going
It just needs some OEM undetrays addons for the bumper that tie it to the wheel liner, so that you can´t see the ground through the grill, and also some under the rad which should help cooling acually
Hey Jimmy new fan! Ive been watching your stuff from afar for the last few years. I have no idea why i didnt sub earlier your videos are incredible. I love your style. Those new m3 bumpers are fire! I thought the car was repainted the match looks so good!
I had an e36 in the early 2000's the "M Aero" back then left a lot to be desired. It looked kinda like an M Bumper but something was just not right. this stuff, this stuff is legit.
Black screws on the end of skirts Jimbo come on I thought you knew better. Thing looks absolutely amazing, needs full tints and maybe a spoiler then it's perfect. Ideal family wagon!
Love the look, but not so much the height. Personally I’d lift it half an inch, dial out some camber and get better tread contact on those tyres. You got a lot of power from that sweet turbo power plant up front, so make the most of what you got. Another thing is those clips and rubber seal will help stop the side skirt sag like Collette has on her silver drift missile she’s building. Overall though it’s a cool addition to your fleet Jimmy.
Oh my!!!!!!! 😍 What is it about a Wagon that hits sooooo hard!?!?! 😦 Absolutely stunning car and perfect transportation for Mini Jimmy and Steph! 😁 Awesome work as always boys!!!
Hey Jimmy a little life hack with the bumper trims. Take a torch to it and it will restore your trim mold back to shiny black. Not even lying. Also I'll be moving to Ohio soon so I you know anybody that's got any S50B30 motors lmk
