I have extreme acrophobia (fear of heights). I had to look away when they showed your pov looking down. I could never get any wear near the edge of that cliff. I salute your craziness, bravery and calmness to do this. 😁
@CAPELLASAMPIERE Guess it is the most stable sleeping position, because his weight presses the construction much stronger against the wall (lever as a force multiplyer #physics)
@Mitchnell Green One should hang up two more portaledges for Axel - one as a bathroom and another one as a kitchen, in case Axel feels like having milk and cookies at night... 😳🥴🚽😊🥛🍪
So fearless! I could not even get near the edge of that cliff, I'd be deathly afraid. But, it's nice to see others have a sense of adventure and boldness; I'd never see such a sight if it weren't for these brave spirits!
Im so scared of heights theres really no word to describe what videos like this do to me. I start pouring sweat, hands sweat, I almost cant look at the screen. Axel, you're a news reporter how the heck can you handle these heights? By the way, your parents chose an excellent name, if we have a son we may choose "Aksel".
Alex is fearless. The cliff hanger guy is cool, he brought coffee for him and both bird's eye view the whole place. Incredible experience and the stunning views.
I'm surprised this doesn't have more likes - beautifully shot (kudos to the cameraperson), thoughtfully executed, and portrayed well for many of us that would never have such an opportunity, even if we were so inclined!
Pretty cool honestly. As a kid I used to make little spots up in the trees in the woods, pretending that i was doing stuff like this. It was particularly easy for me because a hurricane had rolled through one summer, knocked down a bunch of trees, creating an easy "ramp" to get to the trees that weren't knocked down. I wouldn't mind trying this one day though.
I'm so happy to have found this channel... I'm very scared of heights and would never do these things. It's great to watch someone who is a little scared try this crazy sh@t. Cheers bud.
0:54 is my worst nightmare. My brain wouldn’t even trust my legs to get that close and if I pushed through one look down would have crawl back out of fear of losing balance. I’m always amazed how any person would not be afraid of heights!
Wow what courage to do that. My heart was thumping with nervousness just watching and hearing you say at 3:11 that you didn't think this was a good idea
In my younger years, I would have loved to have tried this. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, I eventually developed a keen fear of heights. Where before, I could sit with my legs dangling off a cliff, now I can't even get near the edge. Such a pity, getting this fear.
I beat this fear on psychedelics definitely just telling me its all made from my mind and that i was fully in control of my body just as if i was on a dry flat easy walk , the thing is, when you're near a cliff, you cant think about anything else, or you might die, it becomes some kind of meditation and I absolutely love it
Yes I would sleep there, I think it would be a great experience to be able to watch the night sky and experience the morning sunrise, especially with that coffee. Well done
Going for our first climb tomorrow in West Virginia. I was expecting to pay a good bit for our climbing gear but I was AMAZED how cheap I was able to get it at Walmart... Got 6 100' lengths of nylon rope and a handful of D rings for less than $70!!! Gonna be a great day
My husband and two teenage children did this. The woman at the store who provided the equipment thought they could do this easily. Not so easy! The bridge was apparently the hardest part! Do not try if you have any fear of heights! I would also not do this if it is your first Via Ferrata!
I was born in the mountains, also born afraid of heights, went sky diving tandem to face the fear that was incredible and surprisingly peaceful. Not sure if I would be able to get off the side of the cliff:) but I can understand why someone would want to.
I give you a lot of credit ! That takes a lot of guts. I suffer from vertigo more as I get older, but would love to sleep on the top of the mountain at the summit under the stars. Usually when I have camped in the past, I sleep pretty well outside. Great video! I saw you video about the Stairway to Heaven rope bridge. That was insane !! LOL.
