Nolan has a purpose. He's explained in interviews that all his movies are mixed the same because of immersion. A whisper should be a whisper. An explosion or gunshot should be loud. The way audio and speakers work are there are limited range of dynamics. If you make dialogue loud, when you try to make a BANG! loud, it will just be distorted gains. You can't just make a loud thing louder. It's not loud any more. This trailer is just trash because it's MUSIC that is loud. That doesn't serve a purpose.

Sleeping dogs is an idiom, let sleeping dogs lie. Meaning; sometimes more concern over something can inevitably cause a bigger problem. I don't know why this would ever be considered only a gamer thing. It's been a proverbial phrase for 100s of years. 😂

It's based on the novel, " The Book of Mirrors", by E.O.Chirovici (romanian author), not the game.
