Sleeping is STUPID! - RANT 

The only thing more annoying than falling asleep is waking up. I've never had an easy time falling asleep and I've never had an easy time waking up once I get there. From the time I was a little kid to being a middle-aged adult, falling asleep and waking up have both sucked.

I hate sleeping, i literally put it off until I absolutely have to in order to get up the next morning for work.

Saw the title and immediately agreed it’s kinda depressing how a third of our life is shorter because of it

I'd love to go each day with only needing like 2 hrs of sleep. I could get so much more done but us stupid humans need 7-8 hrs to function each day, ridiculous lol 😂

I sleep on average 6 hours. I’m up between 4-4:30 AM everyday. Maybe 5 on the weekends. I absolutely love that quiet peace of the early mornings. Nothing quite like it

Spot on observations in this one, Adam. I too have the terrible I-will-never-sleep-a-single-night-of-my-life curse. It’s hellish, at best. These rant videos are really growing on me.

Years ago I worked in a bank and Friday was 7:45AM to 6:30PM and it was busy as heck all day. I got home, took off my suit, and crashed hard. IDK, it was sort of nice to hit the covers at the end of the day.

Ah this brings me back to my first college girlfriend. Sleeping over at her or my dorm together in our tiny suitcase size prison bed. God it was so great… twice. And then she falls asleep ontop of your arm, you lose circulation, eventually you have to artfully pull away which of course elicits “are you okay” or “did I do something wrong” and you have to assure her it’s fine, even though this tiny five foot nothing generates the heat of the earths core and you enjoy being cold because you also generate heat of the earths core and now you’re desperate to slink out into the night to just sleep in the grass so you can in fact actually sleep. (Adam esque rant over)

I was digging the intro @00:44, and spit up my lunch from how short it was, I couldn't stop laughing. If that was intentional Adam, well done! Anyways, I always thought of sleep as a sort of time travel; just a constant fast forward, and when you don't do it, the longest freaking night imaginable. Lucjily for me, I work nights and barely sleep ever!

Holy shit, you named everything my wife does to me, it's usually a sharp elbow to the back though. Always fun waking up that way, and of course that also triggers the, now I have to pee. Speaking of that, just waking up to take a piss sucks too, then you have to fall asleep all over again. I love getting older...

Haha at an age I would have agreed with you. Used to sleep for 4 hours max. Now, 10 years later, after 7 hours I feel like I could use some more sleep!! Ps. I'm cracking up at sharing the bed with the wife. BEEN THERE! 😂 We solved the problem with me sleeping on a mattress on the floor, which does wonders for me. My wife is upset about it of course. Small price to pay!

Agree, and feel the same way about having to piss/shit. I wonder how many hours of our lives are spent on the porcelain throne, bulging out our assholes. And it's like my ass hates me - It's too late to turn around and go back, but still too far from my destination... THAT'S when it hits me like a ton of, well, shit. As someone with digestive problems I'd rather get rid of having to go to the bathroom ever again. I can deal with sleeping.

My wife gets bit by spiders while she sleeps.. For some reason, they don’t bother with me. I don’t know what that means…I’m tired all of the time, but falling asleep is near impossible. And btw, my wife and I sleep in separate rooms and we still love each other very much.
