This is literally one of my favorite sup3rfruit videos because: A. In my opinion the best SCOMÍCHË ALMOST-KISS because of mitch's graceful hand, the fact that no one hesitated, they were both smiling, and it was the closest out of all of them. B. They both seemed super confident and energetic C. Their chemistry was on point and they were playing off of each other the whole time.
The book Mitch was talking about is Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes. It's about a young girl who lived in Hiroshima when the atom bomb was dropped during wwII. Because of her proximity to where the bombs dropped she was soon diagnosed with leukemia and spent the remainder of her life in a hospital building 1000 paper cranes before she passed away. It's actually a pretty sad book. She was only a few years old
+CoolHandWiz In our school they did a presentation on that, and then we did this thing for her where we had 100 people to make as many paper cranes as they could in 1 minute-- we got like 300 something
I can totally see the German heritage in Scott. They are both so adorable, just wow. I have only known about them for a week and I am already fangirling
And here, in 2020, Scott has discovered that he's not German at all, but Swedish and Danish. "My parents lied to me my whole life!"---Scott Hoying, 2022
Um Mitch, sorry to tell you, but the story about the girl trying to make 1 thousand paper cranes so she can make a wish died of leukemia. I think it was a result of after affects of the nuclear bombing during world war 2 that caused her leukemia. It's a sad book. :(
Wow Scott and Mitch love slaying their fans with teasers about them being together. Omfg why can't Rhett and Link be like this I'm in love with this their so cute they know people love seeing them be cute so they just do it and aren't awkward about it. I LOVE IT.
+WhatA BeautifulWedding Huh, I get all my clothes at Walmart and Goodwill. Can't see spending huge amounts of money on clothes that are just gonna get ruined from yardwork and working on cars. LOL I'm extremely low-maintenance. If I had that kind of money for clothes, I'd probably spend it on car parts or computer parts instead (like a wicked-powerful gaming rig so that I could watch RU-vid in HD, for instance).
Scott and Mitch, You guys couldn't be more wonderful. You're both flawless and beautiful and amazing. You guys make my day and I can't wait to watch your show. You guys are by far my favorite RU-vidrs. You guys are sweet and funny and the best singers in the whole wide world. I love you guys so much!!! Never stop posting videos!
it was a book that took place in world war ii in japan, and this girl named sadako got radiation poisoning or something like that from the atomic bomb, so she made 1000 cranes b/c that was supposed to bring good luck, but yeah, she died. i remember reading that and making 1000 cranes for my grandpa when he got cancer
He had lung cancer from smoking 5 years ago and so i stayed with him for two months so he could get better (i live in new york and he lives in japan). my sister and i folded 1000 cranes for him and hes good now!
Scomiche fans, can someone help me. I remember seeing this in a video just not sure which one. It's a moment between Scott and Mitch, Mitch is asking Scott something but he's just sort of starring at Mitch day dreaming and he said " sorry can you repeat that". It was legit the cutest moment ever but now I can't find it.
remember.alex I died a little bit, then they were like "two people that love each other getting married?" and I was like... oh well played bois, well played. haha
Omg I was so confused for a second (today is a slow day for me) and you're like people shouldn't get married. And then you whispered the clarification and it's all better Jesus I'm slow.
Wow lol okay, the crane story is about this little real life little girl who was 2 when the bomb in Hiroshima was dropped and then when she was 12 she was hospitalized with Leukemia so she started fold paper cranes because a japanese legend said that if one was about to fold 1,000 paper cranes then would get a wish from the gods. So basically she was only about to for 690 paper cranes before she became to weak and died, her friends and family then finished the last 310 and buried them with her.
SUPERFRUIT Mitch, I love making origami cranes because of that story too! The story is called "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes" and it's about a Japanese girl who develops leukemia after being exposed to the radiation from the atomic bomb in Hiroshima. During her treatment, she tries to fold 1000 cranes in hopes that her wish of getting better will be granted. (There's an old Japanese legend that if you fold 1000 origami cranes, your wish will be granted).
That doesn't make sense to me. Who care's if they do? I just think it's weird when I see gays but really? People protesting against it? It isn't gonna affect them in anyway sooooo
At 4:00, is the story you were talking about the story about the little Japanese girl Sadako? She had been diagnosed with leukemia as a result of radiation in Hiroshima. She was trying to make 1000 paper cranes before she died, but she didn't finish so her friends and family finished the remainder (300 I think..?). I think there is a memorial for her somewhere in Japan now.
The girl that Mitch is referring to that made 1000 paper cranes was Sadoko, a Japanese girl who (when sick) was told an old legend which stated that the person who folds 1000 paper cranes will be granted 1 life changing wish. Sadoko tried to do this, but lacked paper. So, all of the people at her school tried to help her, by folding the paper cranes for her. Sadly Sadoko became too ill, and died. But to this day, people all around the world still fold cranes in her memory.
I think they are saying rabid squirrels, you know squirrels with rabies. Not trying to be mean or anything. I am a bunny person. Don't want them to get a bad rap LOL. Just kidding
I have an ear infection and strep throat right now; and you guys are making me feel SO much better. I can't stop laughing and smiling. I love you guys, thank you.
