I loved that. My favourite renditions of this number are Andra Ariadna and Floor Jansen. I preferred this to the original Tarja, well done.

Hi Kim. This video has gone into my Favorites along with some newly discovered by the Iron Cross from years ago. The Symphonic Metal genre is new to this old dog and I’m loving it. The music and vibe is timeless. The Iron Cross cover of Iron by Within Temptation is an anthem for the ages. Andreea is so amazing. Your kind answers to some questions I raised about SU&KM and The Ramp have given me a whole new perspective. Sometimes I’m given over to adolescent vestiges and sanctimonious nonsense. I’m humbled now and just grateful for all the music coming from Andrei and the Ramp. I’ve only been exposed to SU&KM for the past five months. I didn’t know much at all about Andreea, and didn’t fully appreciate Beatrice but all that has changed. In a recent live show he mentioned Beatrice has been through two years of pain, it wasn’t clear to me why. Something maybe to do with medical school. Anyway it’s wonderful to see her performances from three years ago, which I hadn’t seen before. I had the notion that Beatrice and Giulia were rivals and competitors, but I don’t see it that way now. I love them both, and Sofy and Andreea too. Love them for their talent and admire them for who they are. I admire Andrei Cerbu as well. Thanks again for caring to set the record straight and teach me things I’m grateful and feel privileged to know about the history of the Ramp. Peace and love. Joe.

@@PS109VanBurenHigh This is still one of the top videos. I always have been a fan of the opera and meanwhile of symphonic metal. There are many connections in the studio where singers collaborate in groups or bands you do not expect. And the change of the band names and / or music style over the years. The Iron Cross has less changes but some guests or additional artists especially for covers of symphonic metal, looking back it was quite crazy. The Nightwish cover "Amaranth" with the redhead Iustina Bulimar at the keyboard and years later with the hair dyed black like Tarya as second singer in the cover of "Paradise (What About Us?)" by Within Temptation. In that phase followed two covers with Beatrice and Iron Cross. And the last surprise was The Iron Cross with Andreea Coman in Amaranthe - Amaranthine. Beatrice is a basic part of SUKM. I missed her much in the duets with Giulia. Now I hope there starts the forth phase of SUKM (1. Band / 2. A Capella / 3. Acoustic)

It makes me think of "The Ecstasy of Gold". Written for orchestra, choir and soloist - there are a bunch of videos here with Susanna Rigacci singing it - it was also adapted as an instrumental by Metallica. You could combine the two - use the Metallica arrangement but with Beatrice taking the original vocal line.

No, not like Tarja, better. In the live performances you can hear Tarjas finnish accent. Beatrice sings with almost no audible accent.

@@jensputzlocher8345 Well, not quite. As a native English speaker who is also fluent in Romanian, I can easily hear her Romanian accent. But, she does have excellent pronunciation. Take care.
