+emos in wonderland I love his voice in the studio but there he can record line by line so there's no real strain on the vocals and then you doctor the hell out of it. (I'm a singer myself so I know the process, though I don't claim to be anywhere near as good as him on the record.) Here there is way less filtering and he is straining his voice. Add in the screaming and the fast paced lyrics and a great voice sucks all of a sudden. Hence it sucks regardless😊 Let the record show I am still a fan!😎

Why are people saying that they are bad live? I've haven't been to a concert of them, yet. But actually I heard they're amazing live. And even if Kellin doesn't hit every note he's a great vocalist. All haters go and listen to the acoustic versions and you will see he's amazing.
Have seen them live twice and he always sings phenomenal .....including VIP where they perform acoustic and they are literally playing 5 feet away 🤘🔥🤘🔥

But here's the thing: Kellin doesn't have a BAD voice. He doesn't have a studio voice because they run that through stuff, but he does kind of have to strain his higher and more feminine voice to do what he does in his music. Vic Fuentes sounds very similar to the studio recorded stuff, but he and Kellin aren't the same person with the same voice. Jack had really good solos on his guitar, but SERIOUSLY, stop complaining about Kellin straining his voice.
+Caleb Mills I can confirm that Kellin Quinn is an inconsistent vocalist. I saw Sleeping With Sirens in February and June and it was a great performance, but videos like this proves he can be very pitchy sometimes.

I've seen sleeping with sirens already twice live and im going to see them again in february. You can say what you want to say but dont judge Kellins Voice because its absolutely adorable in every way and can we just forget about the vocals for a moment and consider the feels he puts in every song?

Sleeping with Sirens is my favorite band and I'll admit, Kellin does have quite a few bad performances where he strains his voice. I know he can do way better than this live, considering I've been to a live SWS concert. So please, do not judge Kellin's natural voice just by these RU-vid videos because he doesn't always sound like this.

I feel like it's because the front mic sounded so quiet compared to the instrument amps and that meant he would've had to be a little bit louder and having to make your own voice louder is pretty hard to do without sounding strained and if you strain too much, you could mess up your voice. I feel like he sounds a lot better in smaller venues for the fact that the mic is louder and you don't have to strain as much. To be honest he actually doesn't sound too bad here like people are saying. He still sounds pretty good to me but the fact that he has to strain his voice to be heard kind of makes it sound a little out of practice or not properly warmed up.

Guys, im like 99 percent sure he was hungover, there is another performance of them playing this song and kellin sounded like this and he was drunk. BUT, after straining his voice, its harder to hold some vocal cords + his voice has gotten deeper. There are plenty of videos of him doing well
there are so many comments about keeling voice sounding bad. how about you go and try to sing the way he does. you need to understand that first of all screaming strains your voice and vocal cords to no end. its insane how he is able to get through a whole set without his voice giving out completely. and second of all are you seriously going to judge his whole singing ability on one video? I've seen them live and his vocals are absolutely amazing. PLEASE stop talking so much shit about him.
You're right. I can say, as a singer myself, it's kinda hard to hit high notes the way Kellin do, his voice is amazing and he has a very high vocal range. And yeah, your voice will be weak after screaming, even when screaming correctly. I mean, go listen to "Given Up" by Linkin Park, studio version, before the screaming part, Chester can force his voice in the chorus. After all the screaming part, his voice seems more soft/clean in the last time he sings the chorus. So, if in ONE song you can lose your voice, think about one whole set.
Dude, if you use the right technique for screaming, you can do it at normal talking sound level, and it will not strain your voice one bit. Hitting high notes is all about talent and the right technique. There is nothing HARD about singing like this, Kellin just never learned the right way to sing, and he has to force himself to hit those notes. Sad, because he is immensly talented. I sing, infact, i can hit a Bb5 cleanly and im a male. All about the right technique dude.

Kellin's not THAT bad, just super quiet. O.o Also, I've never been to a concert of any band and the only other concert videos I've seen were of MCR (*sniff*), so it prolly seems really calm to me because Gerard was a literal god of the stage...
I love this band, but they don't need to write vocal melodies that are too high for Kellin to hit live. 14:40 is a prime example where he had to resort to screaming since he can't hit the note. I wish they would just like downtune the guitars or something so he can sing a bit lower :/ However, all the instruments performed quite well live :)
Katy Leanne Well he used to be able to hit them really well. I personality think he has switched the way he sings, and this is why he can't hit these notes.

***** I love them too, but I'm not saying Kellin isn't using technique, it sounds like he's uses a different technique. This new technique could be cause he's voice is lowering or the damage he is doing (from what to me sounds like improper) from his screams
+Mia Renee its because the microphone is based on getting the singers rather than the screaming crowd. i think we'd all prefer to hear the band rather than the crowd. but yes they suck in terms of jumping,dancing etc
I'm a drummer and I've never understood why drummers put tape over their logo when they are in any country other than America. If anyone would like to explain that to me, I'd be very thankful 👌🏼
Had to reset my password just to answer this for you, from what I'm aware of it's usually either due to the drummer having endorsed by another brand which wasn't available for backline or simply the drummer doesn't want to give the drum company any free advertising because he doesn't have an endorsement deal with the company. That is why the logos are there and all over cymbals, heads and sticks; it is a very subtle form of free advertising for the manufacturers and most times unless already endorsed drummers won't go out of their way to find unbranded kits etc Hope that makes some sense to you mister xx

I saw them live and they sound better in person then a video online tbh..not saying they were particularly good in the one but I saw them a couple days ago and they sounded great so you guys need to chill
