Hello friends :) I Hope you enjoy my newest offering. Just a note that I *am* planning on releasing this and my last album on cassette tape. This has proven to be slightly complicated so I decided to release this digitally first, but if you want a tape maybe check back in a few weeks ;)
Hi! I’ve been coming here for months to listen without ever leaving a comment, so I thought I’d share my appreciation now. I found this album a while back and loved it, and I’ve found it’s the perfect music to write to. I’ve listened to it so much while writing that it feels like the unofficial soundtrack to my novel. Thanks for making it, it’s not only great at keeping me focus but it’s also just a really great, evocative piece of music. Idyll Vale is my fave track. 💚
Another masterpiece! Both composition and quality and variety of sounds is top notch. Love these experimental ambient "washes" of sound between the tracks, and how they don't repeat themselves, but always change a little. All sounds seem coherent to each other as if you've created every single one of them from scratch, which I assume you did. Congrats for helping keep dungeon synth interesting!
Slefnwald, you bless us today! This is amazing. I had a test today, and listened to this while studying. Already listened to it twice over. Lovely from start to finish, unique from start to end, but still distinctly *Slefnwald*. I think my favourite track is Nasty Gnolls And Sad Little Trolls, but it's all so good. The art fits perfectly as well. Just great!! 💝💓 I don't own a cassette player, but I'd get one just to own this one physically!
Its so GOOD that you have a space ship you cant travel with. Oxygen = stamina. No fuel. No depth. The plot twist being A FUCKING MULTIVERSE. You guys truly love Bethesda, its amazing
I thought that dungeon synth sucked, but this showed me that there are some notable exceptions. I can't decide if I liked "Across the Firth of Fiths" better for it's jolly sea shanty-like melody or "Cast Through the Void" for it's bone chilling (but also very cool) drones. Are you going to release these songs individually in the future?
Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it. If you want to listen to individual tracks currently you can do so on common streaming platforms or bandcamp (see description). I was considering uploading individual videos to RU-vid but I guess I'm unsure if that would be annoying for people trying to find the whole albums.
