Here's a little bit of the joy of the season for you! No soundtrack of Christmas is complete without Leroy Anderson's, "Sleigh Ride." The tune has eluded me for years as a solo guitar piece, but this year I thought I'd try my hand at arranging it myself rather than trying to wrap my head and hands around someone else's arrangement. It's been a fun journey learning this one, although it's going to be just as tough re-learning this come every November from this point forward. lol
I know times are trying for so many, and Christmas doesn't quite feel the same this year, but the JOY of Christmas is something that is independent of our circumstances. It's more than traditions, gifts, good food, and cold weather...it's in the honoring of the Gift given to all of humanity for nothing less than our eternal salvation!
I hope this little tune inspires a touch of that joy in keeping with the season.
