The 7" depth allows the drum to punch and the 13" diameter controls the note beautifully. The
Blackwood in this drum is not overly dense, so the shell has a really warm, low fundamental tone with sensitive snare response.
Allowed to 'do it's thing' and completely free float in the Sleishman suspension system, this drum can drive in tight, funky situations and then open up when needed.
