Culture Shock, episode 6 of the Slice of Life series for the SFM FNaF AU that I have created, called "Underworlds" - an alternate universe focused more on the paranormal side of FNaF with a unique story and twists regarding the existing story, lore and characters of the official series, including some new faces.
With 327GBs of HDD space and 204964 frames, this is the biggest episode I've written yet: took 4 months to develop; the script was pretty big; insane amounts of dialogue and voice acting; and the longest episode I've ever made on the channel, for now. Not the much anticipated 1 hour long video yet, but close!
Arguably the most lore-filled, world building and character enriching entry in SoL if you notice the details, this episode was made with tons of love, blood, sweat and lots of tears - thanks to SFM's lovecraftian problems. So I hope you enjoy this, because if you don't...then
I did have a lot of fun making this episode, as tedious as it was to animate every single lipsync the characters yapped their big mouths on - it was worth it in the end, as I am extremely satisfied with the result.

No words can describe just how much I adore this whole series, like seriously. The story behind every character and the way it seems like nobody is the "villain" is so nice to me, this is so different from all the other fnaf series there is and I love it. I'm obsessed with this to the point where I've literally sobbed over this series multiple times. Every episode just gets better and better, literally my Roman Empire

29:20 this is an itch of story telling I’ve been having for while. These guys are possessed animatronics and they never have actually discussed their actual age in canon, so seeing fans actually confront this question of “how old are we, really?” Is damn interesting, like how in GEMS animation where nightmare chica and Bonnie were discussing how old they actually are and Bonnie stops for a second because it just hit him that he’s actually 40. Imagine one day, dying at 14 years old waking up in a mechanical body and going on vengeance trip for so long and you realize you’ve spent 30 years chasing a guy.

I love how down to earth this series is. All these interpretations of these characters are 3 dimensional.....looking on the past, coming to terms with their sins, and being at peace with themselves. Finding the Strength to move on, and improve themselves..... It's enough to bring a tear to my eyes....

I'm a little over 5 minutes into this episode and already captivated. Not to mention that I'm gonna be watching this episode with a friend on Watch2Gether. This series is full of charm. Everything about it is chill with nothing crazy going on, unlike most other FNAF AU series where you have Ennard, Nightmare, or Springtrap as the main villain, and all of them share a similar goal. So this series is a breath of fresh air. On another note, I love this series so much that I would sit through a 2 hour long episode if you were to make such a video of that scale. I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility, but it’s something that I don’t see happening often since it would require a lot of work.

Oh my goodness. This was so much more than worth it. This was everything 😭. Plushtrap and Vixen? Adorable as always Vixen not being straight? I spat my drink out, was not expecting that, I love this queen Beth liking Vixen and plushtrap supporting it? So cute, she deserves happiness(called it) The minireenas? Babies, I love them all oh my god they are so PRECIOUS OMG Barry's backstory? I will never be the same again. This poor poor man. I just want him to be happy. Let this poor man be with his wife, someone get my man a tree to sit under, that is literally all he wants 😭 Also Ballora? Love her so much 🫶 Of course my brain doesn't work and I remembered nothing about limbo so I need to watch this a few more times and write everything down. Holy shit, I'm only half way through and already want to re watch the entire series for like the 11th time, This is seriously better quality than most movies and tv shows recently. I thought that winglet did good animations but that was before scratched universe. And then I saw this series and was blown away, I watched episodes 1-3 the first day I saw it. Then episode 4 came out the next day and I watched the entire series again. I honestly do not have words to say how much I love this series.

I discovered this series not long ago after finally getting back into fnaf after years and, I can confirm when i discovered this through episode 4 I then went on and watched the rest from the very beginning in one sitting. This series is incredible, and it'd be impossible to explain on why I love it so much, it makes me feel so happy, the characters are so, real and, natural. It's like you could engage in a conversation with them at any moment and nothing would feel off-place. Keep up the amazing work guys

I’m really digging all of this unique lore that has little to no connection to FNAF’s canon. I think this is the first AU I’ve seen that doesn’t heavily borrow from Cawthon’s storylines. It’s really interesting. I reckon it would be an awesome book series that I’d 100% percent give a read.

I love how this series develops. It takes on the setting of the animatronics yet it gives them whole new personalities. It also introduces real world stuff such as other languages and experiences. It doesn’t just stay attached to the plot of the animatronics being edgy killers yet makes them human people kinda like what Zacjue37 did. Never have I seen a fnaf series that has done this so you have my applause.

THIS EPISODE IS THE BEST!!! oh my god i am totally forgot this was an underworld, purgatory type story. We get to know ballora's minireenas have names?? They have cultures and religion and forms?! I miss the series, the romance, the imagination put forth onto the animatronics. I still cant believe that plushtrap and Beth are one animatronic like everyone else but they can switch who controls and can talk to each other through their head. It is amazing 🤩.

Another banger with careful work, and for a long episode too, I can only assume due to it being an epilogue, the writing for connecting the AU to the current timeline in this would take awhile to grow characters with the bgs (backgrounds) ages n so on, stellar work as always, and hope to see more works still, it brightens my day, sincerely that is a truth from me.

To anyone who doesn't know, v in Latin isn't pronounced like V. it is pronounced with a W. So, Vituperat is pronounced wituperate. (Also vituperat means to curse someone out)
