There's not a better way to kick off the new winter season here in Michigan than to go out and do some flying with a big gas airplane in the snow! This season's weapon of choice is the brand new 100" Slick 580 EXP by Extreme Flight. We had new fallen snow, 20 degree temps, and a desnity altitude of -2,056 ft. The DA-120 sure did like these conditions! Setup:
MKS HBL380 servos, MKS HV1250 for throttle
Falcon 27x11
Pulse 2S 2550mah RX packs
Spektrum DSMX 12-Channel Powersafe RX
EF 5" Spinner
EF 34oz fuel tank

Did you get any icing on the wings? I know my plane is amazing in the winter. I'v always wanted a little suppercharger for these motors. Not that that we need any more power but maybe it could give us better throttle response. Great flying! Happy holidays and God bless you.

Between 40-60%. Depending on the control surface.

Gotcha, thanks. I'm not a fan of loose feeling planes, but it seems high amounts of Expo are the only way to do maneuvers like this with that amount of precision.

WOW!!!! I have watched hours and hours of endless videos on 3d rc stunts like this and this is honestly up there with the world champions and one of the top 5 videos i have ever seen!!! especially with the slicing through the snow lol you cannot get any lower than that!!!
