Don’t hold your breath, Tony suffered brain damage from a tumor that left him partially blind, barely able to walk, and unable to work or tour anymore. Vital Remains is more a less dead without him. There won’t be another album anytime soon, if ever.
As most fans already know,Metal has ALWAYS had some of the most talented and most innovative musicians of ANY genre of music! Your average Pop or Top 40 act couldn't hold a (black) candle, talent OR musicianship-wise, to the vast majority of Metal bands (pick ANY Metal genre, too!). Imo,only Classical and Jazz are the 2 genres of music that can say that, overall, they're musically more advanced than most Metal is.Obviously though, there are many Metal bands who are as technically capable as the aformentioned 2 genres.
i heard a new interview that was put out a few days ago with tony and he said the goal is to have the new album out by end of 2013 or by january of 2014
