Hey Maxime, I totally love Odin 3. How would you program the "Gojira scrape"? Would it be the same as your "cheat code" for bending but using the scrapes keyswitch instead of the pull-off? A tutorial would be awesome!
I tried doing slides with octaves (when you play octaves on every 8th note and on e.g. the 5th string + 5th fret and the 3rd string + 7th fret and slide a half-note upwards), but I can't make them sound realistic. Is there any tip for me?
Cool! I was having trouble with the slide articulations not having enough sustain on the target note for what I'm working on. Would you recommend the third technique for that type of thing? Also is there a way to slide chords?
The first 2 techniques should still work great for that. As you could see, by adding the the target note yourself and removing its attack, you could decide its length
Hello Maxim, Odin 3 sounds very impressive by now. I have 2 questions, will there be a feedback function and chord recognition in the future like there is with heavier7 Strings? The chord recognition is really very helpful for non-guitarists.
@@SolemnTones Chords, such as major, minor, seventh, etc. A chord mapping function so that chords are also played with incomplete notes. For example, if you play E-G-B, which triggers an E minor chord, the notes "E B E G B E" are played accordingly. If you play G-B-D at the same time, the G major fingering is triggered, causing the notes "G B D G B G" to be played on the strings. How a guitarist would play the chords.
thanks to this i cant decide whether to use this over heavier7strings, like them both equally 😭 i've got a question though, is it possible to make the slide speed relevant to the length of the overlapping section of the 2 notes instead of a knob?
@@SolemnTones what about that fret buzz you get when youre releasing your fingers off of the string, idk whats the actual name to call this and if its already a thing in odin 3 and i didnt notice it, thats my bad but id like to have a keyswitch for this if possible, i feel this could come in handy with the existing human noises to have a realistic sound
I have had luck using the ohmicide plugin, and also there is a pedal in amplitube named "feedback" that works ok. The feedback i have created doesnt quite sound as good as i want it to
