I've seen so many tutorials for this type of pouch and you are the only person who prepped the zipper before construction. Which is crazy to me because it is so much easier to do that at the beginning than struggle with it after finishing the bag. Thank you for the tutorial, very nice job!
I saw a sliding pencil case like this one about a week ago and thought it was great.....I watched a couple of instruction videos which left me a bit baffled (I’m not the world's best at sewing!) and then I happened to find your video, which is fantastic! I am now itching to get started as soon as my stiff interfacing arrives, as I have some lovely fabric in mind for it......thank you so much for sharing your great video...l am now a new subscriber to your channel......
Thank you so much for your lovely comment Barbara, I am so pleased that you enjoyed it. Thank you for subscribing and I hope you enjoy our new content as much. x
I couldn't find firm interfacing, but managed to make this work by using a stiffer canvas fabric and a foam interfacing for bag handles. It worked really well! Appreciate the tutorial :)
Thank you for the video. Nice instructions and tips! Could you add the printable pattern in your video description? The link you provided below is no longer available.

Its a little iron that I use for patchwork but is really hand for the video too. There are numerous makes but mine is made buy Ansio. I would definitely recommend one.
Ive just tried the link and it is working at my end .. it should take you to a page called 'how to make a sliding pencil case' that has a download button on it. Please let me know if it doesn't work when you try again. thank you x
